Scrubbing the table even harder, I bite back the tears that threaten to fall. "Hey Doyoung, why don't you take a break? I'm okay by myself for a while. The cafe isn't that busy today anyway." Jaehyun's warm hand rubs my back comfortingly and I nod in response.
Excusing myself I head to the small staff room. My mind keeps replaying the nightmare I had, repeating the moment I lost Jungwoo. Except, instead of blacking out I witness him drowning. Over and over again, in my head, I watch Jungwoo choking, his eyes screaming for help.
Bringing myself away from those horrid thoughts, I check My Virtual Boyfriend again.
Jungwoo has been missing for a week. Sorry. We can't locate him right now. Try again later.
I sigh for the millionth time today. He's still missing and I'm still missing him. Closing my eyes, I attempt to sleep away my worries but to no avail. The itching, aching sensation in my heart hurts too much to sleep.
The cafe seems busy now, so I head back to work, Jungwoo never leaving my thoughts.
