"i'll skip the stereotyped words."

the car swerved as i violently tap on the buttons on the snow white controller in my small hands. i let out a breath, as i swiftly attacked my opponent. avoiding the obstacles, swerving right into the items, jumping across broken bridges - this game of mario kart is completely out of control.

all of a sudden, my side of screen was splashed with spots of brown. "hah! sucker!" before i could even give a reaction, hyunjin snickered.

my face contorted, "no you!" i yelled as i attacked him with my item, "take that!"

"yeah no," seungmin laughs, "i win!"

i looked at him with a frustrated expression, "it's the third time in a row. what the hell."

"i'm just that good."

i drop the controller that was in my hand, "i can't do this anymore!"

a week had gone by since our last study session, and today we gathered, not for more math, but games, because we gotta take breaks or else we're delivering ourselves to death. this time, only seungmin, hyunjin, jeongin, and i are playing, since jisung and gowon are hanging out 'as friends'. well, that's what they said, but we all know it's not true.

i was whining on the floor when i felt a hand on my own, pulling me back up.

"you look so done. actually, you are."

i closed my eyes as i feel my whole body drop back on the floor, "bro. no need for extra sassiness today."

"whatever," jeongin smiled at me.

crap. my ears are getting red. did he notice?

"hey! i have an idea. follow me." he stood up and offered his hand with a pure smile, actually helping me up this time. i took it, jumping from my previous position on the floor.

"we'll be back in a few, lock the door for us. hyunjin, have fun losing!" jeongin laughed, pulled my hand, then sprinted out before he can beat us up into pulps.

we panted as we leaned on the mirror in the enclosed elevator. "that was...mean..." i managed to spew out between my small huffs.

"what did you expect?" he beamed. "that's true. knew i could never trust you with these type of situations," i laughed at my own words, my hands still on my knees, slightly hunched over, "so. where is our destination today, captain?"

he shrugged with a slight smile on his lips, "you'll see."

"this is not fair," i sighed.

he pat my head softly, "just trust me. it'll be good."

"it better be," i muttered as we walked out, heading towards wherever we're going.
