Chapter 3

READER'S POV

I sat on the couch next to Karl and Yui while holding my bump protectively while the Sakamaki brothers and the Muakmi brothers waited for an explanation. Reiji looked at me and he then said to me.

"For the last four months, you left us and now you decided to come back? why?"

"Believe me, it's not easy for me to come back either after what you lot were like before I left but, I had no choice."

Karl then explained to the brothers.

"She's right, I'll make this short, (Y/n) is pregnant and one of you is the father of that child."

Ayato chuckled and he then spoke up.

"You're joking right?"

I frowned and I glared at Ayato.

"Ayato! this is not a joke! I'm not fat! this is a real baby growing inside of me because of what you guys did to me and now one of you is the father!"

Ayato sweat dropped and then Ruki looked at me and he said to me.

"Do you know who it is?"

"No, and even if I did, I wouldn't let you guys come near me or this baby."

Yuma frowned and then Subaru shouted.

"Now wait a minute! if one us is the father, we've got rights to be near him or her!"

"After watching you lot fight over me! not a chance! and besides, you guys don't know the first thing about raising a child, nevermind a baby!"

Subaru growled and then Karl shouted.

"All of you shut up!!"

The vampire brothers went silent and then Yui said to me.

"(Y/n) you need to stay calm, getting angry at the brothers isn't helping you or the baby."

"I know that but, it's hard not to get angry at them after what they did to me."

"I know it's hard but, you've to at least try and get along with them."

Karl nodded his head in agreement and then he said to the vampire brothers.

"Anyway, (Y/n)'s mother has fallen ill and she's been taken to the hospital so until she's better, (Y/n) will be living here and I do not want any of you fighting over her or do anything that'll bring too much stress to (Y/n) and the baby."

Karl said as he glared at the brothers. Reiji then spoke up.

"All right, we'll do our best to make sure to look after (Y/n)."

"Good, now if you need anything (Y/n) just give me a call."

Karl said as he gently rubbed my bump and I nodded my head. After Karl left, Subaru looked at me and he was about to say something.

"Listen, (Y/n)-"

"Don't speak!"

Subaru didn't say anything as I glared at the vampire brothers and I then said to them.

"You guys will have nothing to do with this baby once it's born."

"Now don't sound so harsh (Y/n), we've got every right."

"Says who? I don't even know who the father is, the point is, you guys fought over me too much and that's the reason why can't trust you to be around me or the baby for that matter."

The brothers were shocked when I said this and I then said to Yui.

"Yui, do you mind showing me to my room, something stinks around here."

"OK."

Yui said as she took my bags and suitcase and then we headed upstairs leaving the brothers shocked at my comment.

3RD PERSON POV

The vampire brothers were shocked when (Y/n) said that to them and then Subaru spoke up.

"I hate to say this but she's right."

The brothers looked at Subaru and then Shu spoke up.

"Can you blame her for being protective? it is our fault that she left in the first place, all we can do right now is try and make sure nothing happens to her or the baby."

Ruki nodded his head in agreement.

"Once the baby is born, we'll need to do a DNA test to see who the father is, that is if (Y/n) trusts us again and let us be the father."

Back with Yui and (Y/n), Yui was helping (Y/n) unpack since she couldn't do much with her bump getting in the way. (Y/n) stretched a little with her hands on her back and then Yui asked her.

"Are you OK?"

READER'S POV

"I'm fine, it's just a few backaches I get every now and then, I told the doctor this before I came here and he told me it's just normal for pregnant women."

"Oh, I see, I better brush up on my knowledge about pregnancy especially with this one on the way."

"Thank Yui, you're the only person who I can talk to around here, ow!"

I felt the baby kicking and I then giggled as I sat down.

"Looks like a certain- ow! someone doesn't agree with that comment."

"*Gasp* can I feel?"

"Sure."

I said with a smile as Yui knelt down and then she placed her hand on my bump. The baby kicked again and then Yui smiled like a little child.

"Wow, looks like this little boy or girl is quite the kicker."

"I know, the baby has been doing a lot of movement recently, I couldn't concentrate in class this morning because of this, I know it's hard but I've got to try and do my best until this one comes, I want to enjoy being a teenager a little while longer before this comes."

Yui smiled and she rubs my bump gently.

"I'll be there every step of the way, after all, you're going to need someone to help you with the birth since those guys are going to be useless."

"Exactly, thanks a lot Yui."

Yui smiled back at me and after helping me unpack, I showed her some leaflets the doctor gave after I told them I became pregnant.

"If you want to help me, then you can read some of these leaflets about the classes that I'll be taking once my bump gets bigger and so on."

"OK, thanks."

Yui said before I gave her the leaflets and then she left my room. I gently rubbed my belly and I said to the baby.

"Looks like it's just me and you now, sweetie, I promise I won't let anything happen to you."

The baby kicked again in response and I smiled a little as I rubbed my bump.
