Chapter 19

A/n hey guys sorry I haven't been updating for a while. I've been working on my new book called 'Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi: A Nekomanta's Story' and I've started working on a personal project outside of Wattpad, which is a manga book based on the Game Assassin's Creed except mines is going to be called 'Assassin's Creed: Knighthood'. The story is going to be set in England during the medieval times and maybe during King Arthur's time. I'm still coming up with some ideas for the storyline and what the characters should look like as well.

That's all I can tell u anyway on with the story.

READER'S POV

I was taking Ayame for a walk as I pushed her pram. Ayame yawned a little meaning that she was going to fall asleep at any minute now. I smiled at her and I stopped for a moment to fix her blanket until she started crying again.

"Oh dear, one minute you're nice and quiet and then the next minute you're like this, up you go sweetie."

I gently picked her up and then she started to settle down. I smiled a little once she starts to settle down. Just then, Yuma showed up and he smiled at me.

"Hey (Y/n)."

"Hi, Yuma, look Ayame it's your uncle Yuma."

I said as I let Ayame look at Yuma. Yuma smiled at Ayame and he gently pats her head.

"Hey missy, I hope you're not giving your mommy too much trouble."

Suddenly, Ayame started crying making Yuma back away from her. I giggled a little while Yuma frowned at this.

"Sorry, Yuma, I don't think Ayame hasn't gotten used to you yet."

"What is about me that baby doesn't like?"

"Probably your height since you're about the same size as a titan."

"Oy!"

Ayame started giggling when she heard me teasing Yuma. I smiled at Ayame and I said to her.

"What's this Ayame? do you think Yuma is a silly giant as well?"

"Oy, I'm still here, anyway, how did the Sakamaki brothers do?"

"Well, they've done all right, except, Subaru is still rough around the edges, the triplets could do with a bit more work but other than that, they passed the test, it'll be yours and your brothers turn, Ruki offered to babysit so Yui and I can hang out in town to treat ourselves after getting through those exams."

"I see, I wonder how he'll cope, I mean, you already know his background, his mother abandoned him and his father killed himself."

"Oy, don't say stuff like that in front of this one and as for Ruki, I'm sure he'll be fine, besides, underneath that tough vampire skin there's a kind heart."

Yuma looked impressed at my comment and he then said to me.

"You always see the good in people it's no wonder we fell for you."

I nodded my head in agreement and I then put Ayame back in the pram.

"Come on, Ayame, let's head home, see you later Yuma."

I said as I left with Ayame.

THE NEXT DAY...

I got to the Mukami mansion with Ayame and I was trying to get the pram up the stairs and then Kou showed up.

"Hey Keneko-chan, let me help you with that."

"Arigato Kou."

Kou took the end of the pram and then he helped me carry it up the steps. Once I got inside, Kou said to me.
