Chapter 2

READER'S POV

I paced back and forth in the hallway of the hospital since I was nervous about telling Karlheinz about his grandchild. I stopped in my tracks and I then took a deep breath and I then mumbled to myself.

"Calm down, (Y/n)...just try and relax and calmly tell the soon to be vampire grandfather about his grandchild, how hard can that be?"

I was about to get a drink until I saw Karl in disguise and he asked the receptionist about me and my mother. I took a deep breath and I then called out to him.

"Mr Sakamaki!"

Karl looked at me and then he smiled at me. Karl came over to me and he then said to me.

(Y/n)! it's been so long."

Karl hugs me and I then felt my bump pressing against his stomach. Karl felt it and then he looks at my bump and he then said to me.

"And you've certainly have changed in some ways, what's going on here?"

"It's a very long story and I don't know if you're gonna be pleased or angry about the reason why I asked you to come here."

I explained Karl about what was going on between me and the vampire brothers, how they fought over me and the reason why I left. I was sitting on the chairs in the waiting room and then Karl came back with a hot drink of tea for himself and a drink of water for me.

"So my sons and my adopted sons fell in love with you, they more than kissed you, got into a fight over you, you then left but now, you came back carrying my grandchild? my, my, what a mess you've got yourself into."

"Tell me about it."

I took the drink from him and then Karl sat next to me and I continued.

"After I found out that I've got a bun in the oven, Otu-san told me to get rid of it but, Okaa-san suggested that I should keep it and that's what I did, however, that only made things worse, Otu-san and Okaa-san kept arguing over and over so that was when she and I moved back to Tokyo so I could stay clear of the stress and Otu-san's rage as well."

"Oh my, that's awful."

"We were all right for a while until Okaa-san fell ill, turns out she's got that disease that's being talked about on the news."

"Oh dear, that's the last thing you need right now especially with this little one on the way."

Karl said as he gently rubbed his hand on my bump. Karl looked at me and he then asked me.

"Since you need to steer clear of your Mother for a while, where are you going to stay?"

"I was planning to stay at our house for a while but, I'm a little worried that something might happen to me or the baby if something went wrong... I'm sorry, I'm just being a drama queen, my hormones are starting to affect my brain."

"No, no, you've got a good point, I'm also you told me about my grandchild but, you're gonna have to tell my sons about this too."

I sighed a little and I placed my hand on my bump.

"That's what worries me the most, I don't know how those guys are going to react when they see me like this, I know it's only going to end up in another fight."

Karl understood this and then he placed his hand on my shoulder and he then said to me.

"Would it make you feel better if I were there to stop my sons from fighting over you and just call a truce?"

I smiled at this and I nodded my head.

"That would be great thank you so much, Mr Sakamaki."

I said as hugged him and he hugs me back.
