Momma, put my guns in the ground, I can't shoot them anymore.

I sit on the bench in the small playground at the clubhouse, watching the boys run around and jump down from the jungle gym. I pull my cardigan around me, shivering in the light breeze. My hair is up in a messy bun and my bangs fall just in front of my face. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around, looking at my dad.

"How're ya' feeling, kid?" He asks me, moving around me and taking a seat on the bench.

I shrug, "Nervous, I guess. I feel like I just started to adjust to doing everything by myself, and now he's coming home again, and I don't know how frequently I can do this whole adjusting thing."

My dad nods, "It's a lot, but it's part of the life, and you did so well. He's lucky to have a lady like you at home." I give my dad a small smile and he returns the favor, pulling me into his side. "I'm proud of you, Ally girl. I love you."

"I love you too, dad." We continue watching the boys and Abel runs over to me, pressing his ear against my tummy. I feel a kick come from my tummy and Abel grins, his eyes lighting up.

"Thomas! Come!" he calls out to his little brother. Thomas runs over and does the same as Abel, pressing his ear against my tummy.

Another kick happens, and Thomas starts laughing, "Sissy is strong!" My dad chuckles, watching the two boys fascinate over their little sister's strength already. I hear motorcycles from a distance and butterflies start to fly about in my stomach. I'm so nervous for this adjustment and to see how Jax will be. Yes, we've spent all this time apart, but it's so much different when they come back. I remember growing up and my dad coming back from prison and the relationship between him and my mom was almost non-existent.

"You ready, baby girl?" I hear my dad ask me as he starts to stand up, messing up Thomas and Abel's hair. "Daddy's home, boys!" I watch as my father opens the gate, walking out to the lot where the bikes start piling in, one by one parking and celebrating that their president is back.

I look down at Thomas and Abel and let out a small sigh, "Are you okay, Mama?" Thomas asks me, moving up the bench and sitting beside me, setting his hand on my inflated tummy. I smile down at him and Abel, setting my hand on top of Thomas' and kissing the top of his head.

"I'll be okay, baby. Mommy has a messy head right now." I admit, not wanting to concern the young boys.

Abel looks at me confused, "Momma, your hair is fine. It's not messy."

I let out a chuckle, "Thanks, Abel. I'm glad my hair looks okay." I stand up carefully, feeling unbalanced due to the baby growing in my stomach. My black jersey dress falls just below my knees and Abel grabs my hand, helping me balance. "Let's go see, Daddy." I say softly, and Thomas and Abel nod, grabbing my hands and walking out with me to the lot.

I watch as Jax hugs everyone; his mom, Chibs, Bobby, Happy, Tig, and goes down the line, making sure he's gotten everyone. I watch as he stands there for a moment, not sure where we are until Thomas yells out "Daddy!", and with that, he turns around and rushes over to us, picking up Thomas in his arms and giving him a kiss, then doing the same thing with Abel. I observe as he cuddles the boys in his arms, kissing the tops of their heads and thanking God that he's finally home and with his family.

Finally, he looks up at me, a grin smeared across his face as he notices my large bump. "My baby girl." He says before coming over to me with open arms. He pulls me into a hug and kisses me passionately in front of the boys, smiling into the kiss. I hear Jax chuckle as he notices the space between us due to my growing belly. His hands move from the small of my back to my belly before bending down and giving my stomach a kiss too. "My princess." He says into the clothing of my dress.
