06 | Sierra

"Hannah, can I drive her home instead?" I quickly looked at Donny because of his request, I wasn't expecting this.

Hannah furrowed her brows at her brother, I bit my lips and shaking my head on her. I muttered 'no' at her. "Ohh." she grins at Donny then nodded, "Sure, thanks kuys."

She walks passed me and I hold her arm, "Don't leave me, Hans." I whisper only for her to hear, she just giggle and bid her good-byes.

"You know what, Sierra. I'm getting jealous."

I turned to look at him, giving him a confused look. I stuttered. "A-and why is that?"

He stepped closer so that I can hear him clearly, "Because you keep hanging out with my sister."

I raised my brow at him, is he really saying this to my face?

"And? What does that mean?" I questioned.

"C'mon, you know that we're inseparable in high school." he responded, "It's just weird and different now."

I scoffed, "It's been almost two years, Donny. Get over it." I stepped back a little, I don't like the tension between us. "Everything has changed."

I looked down while waiting for him to speak, but he didn't. Glancing at him for a second then walking away.

"Doesn't mean that everything around us has changed, the both of us would change too." I stopped from my tracks from his words.

"You can see our differences now, Donny. You should know that."

"Yeah.. I mean, maybe?" he says, "Doesn't mean you see a rising star Donny on the outside, doesn't mean the Donny you know isn't here."

I parted my lips to say anything but I immediately closed it, couldn't construct a sentence from what he said. I just looked down, not wanting to have another eye contact with him. After a second, I felt his warm hands on my arms. He's so warm, I want to hug him.

"I'm still here, Sierra." his raspy voice sends warmth in my system. Tell me about how safe I feel when I hear him speak. "Now, is my Sierra still in there?"

Fuck, did I hear him say "my"?

I'm not okay, at the moment.

I didn't say anything, too astonished with his words. I felt him pulled me closer to him and enveloped into a hug. Why is he so touchy right now? I'm freaking out.

"Donny?" an unfamiliar girl voice echoed in the parking lot of this mall. He pulls away, we turned to look seeing Sunny.

I'm not going to lie, Sunny is really cute and beautiful. I mean, c'mon, she's Korean. Clear and glossy skin. You know the basic.

"Hey, Sunny. What are you doing here?" Donny walked towards her giving Sunny a kiss in the forehead, okay what the heck? I didn't see that coming. Well, now I'm confused.

"I went grocery shopping and I didn't know you'd be here too." I still managed to hear their coversation, her arm never left Donny's torso. "Oh my gosh, is she?" she paused while looking at me, "Sierra?"

I smiled at her, still shook about the happenings in this particular parking lot. I didn't move a muscle, I know I'll get hurt. I guess? I really don't know.

"Uh, yes." Donny said holding Sunny's hand as they walk closer to me, "Sunny, meet Sierra. And Sierra, this is Sunny."

She smiled widely, her eyes are about to disappear. What? Just saying. She reached her hand to me which I accepted. I give her a questioning look, still a bit confused.

"Nice to finally meet you Sierra, Donny told me a lot about you." she says, damn she looks so cheerful. Wow, he talks about me. Me being confused, "Oh, I'm Donny's girlfriend."

Girlfriend?

Wow, didn't see that coming.

But, wait. Isn't that weird to talk about the ex-special someone to your girlfriend?

I nod slowly, "It's nice to meet you too." I smiled at her then glancing at Donny, giving him the same, unreadable smile.

Witnessing this right now, I don't know what to say. I feel like I'm standing before the target and they're throwing me daggers, hitting me perfectly. It doesn't feel real, it feels like it's just a nightmare and that I want to wake up. But it isn't. It's real.

Donny offered me a ride home, with Sunny. Wow, just great. Sunny told us, she didn't bring a car saying she had a feeling someone would drive her home. Well, lucky guess. What annoys me, she keeps saying that they really are "destined". Like what the actual fuck? Who would say that in front of I would say "thirdwheel"?

Donny felt uncomfortable too since he isn't really that showy with his relationship. But, on the other hand, Sunny is really clingy. She keeps leaning towards Donny from the shotgun while he drives, well, passenger's seat isn't bad. I guess.

Fuck it, why do I have to be stuck with them?

Barely surviving in this atmosphere, we made it to our house. Finally. I thanked them, then quickly opening the door and to my surprise, Donny was there holding it for me.

"Thanks for the ride." I gave him a tightlipped smile.

"Um... About earl-"

"It was nothing, right?" I cutted him off, he just looked down. He nods, "Okay, then. Good night."

I didn't let him say anything, walking on my way in our gate. It was painful, freak another night with him. What's with him at night and the "gone wrong" events? Honestly, it's really unhealthy.

Well, I'm confused asf.
