The man made his way over to Lucy with a smirk. Lucy pushed herself backwards until her back was pressed against the wall. The man sat at the end of Lucy's bed and reached for her hair.

"You're a pretty girl aren't you now?" The man says. He twists a piece of Lucy's hair in his fingers. Zachary could feel the anger building up inside of him.

Lucy pulled back. "Dude, brush your teeth once in awhile your breath smells like something died in your mouth."

That made the man rage and taking his left fist and slamming it into Lucy's eye. Zachary jumped up and clenched his fists. Anger boiled in his veins as he glared at the stranger.

"Leave her alone!" Zachary screamed but the man didn't listen, he hit Lucy again. Adrenaline filled Zachary's veins and Zachary didn't hesitate, in an instant the man was on the ground with Zachary on top of him. But Zachary didn't stop there, he slammed his fists into the man's face over and over. Lucy was crying on the bed. The man desperately tried to block Zachary's blows. Zachary finally ceased hitting the man and stood up panting. His knuckles were busted and bleeding but he didn't care. Lucy nods at him and forced a smile but her eyes quickly grew wide and she pointed behind Zachary.

"Zachary-" Before Lucy could finish her sentence Zachary was tackled to the floor. He was completely overtaken he couldn't do anything but take the hits, the man slammed his fists into Zachary's nose and gut. For the next few minutes the room was filled with painful yelps from Zachary, grunts from the man, and screams from Lucy. Zachary was a bloody mess when the man finally stopped.

"You're lucky I'm not allowed to kill either of you yet." The man says and spat on a groaning Zachary. The man walked out of the room mumbling to himself and closed the door behind him. Lucy was crying even harder and Zachary lay on the floor barely conscious.

"Lucy..." Zachary barely coughed out her name. "Are you okay?"

Lucy nodded and cried hysterically. Lucy climbed off her bed and tried to reach Zachary, she wiped his hair off his forehead carefully.

"Are you okay?" Zachary asked again He turned over on his side and spit out a gulp of blood but turned back to Lucy as soon as he could.

"I'm okay." She grinned through the tears and so did Zachary. Lucy knew Zachary would do anything to keep any of his friends out of harms way but she couldn't help be shocked he went to this measure of protecting. She was probably at the bottom of his friend list and only part of their group because of Jacelyn. Zachary eventually fell asleep lying on the floor in a heap by Lucy's knees. Lucy wasn't sure how they would get out of this situation but she knew that they'd survive.
