The Cabin In The Woods

Zachary kept Pheobe close as be made his way towards Jacelyn's hospital room. The door was cracked open. Zachary slowly peeked inside, he saw Andy, Lucy, and Sawyer standing together in the corner as the hooded person faced Jacelyn. She looked at the person, scared. Lucy then spotted Zachary and her eyes widened. Her eyes shot to the chair sitting beside the hospital bed Jacelyn lay on then back at Zachary. She did this several times before Zachary finally understood. Zachary slipped through the door and eased up to the chair. He slowly picked it up by the handrests and swung it towards the hooded person. Once the chair came in contact with the persons head he tumbled to the ground, unconscious. Zachary set the chair down and Pheobe ran into the room. Sawyer stood over the person and pulled the hood off his head and Zachary's heart dropped. It was his mother, Zachary's very own mother.

"Oh my god." Jacelyn gasped

"Who is that?" Andy asks

"That's our mom." Jacelyn and Zachary said in unison.

"Should we call the cops or...?" Lucy asks

"Yeah, we should probably call the cops." Sawywr mumbled but nobody moved. They were all much too shocked.

"It was my mom all along. She's killed all those people." Zachary mumbled. Then everyone backed up when Mrs. Brunette sat straight up. She stood up and faced the kids.

"The cops are coming, don't try anything." Lucy lied.

Mrs. Brunette reached into her pocket and pulled out a pistol. Pheobe grabbed Zachary's arm and pulled him back. But instead of pointing the pistol at someone else Mrs. Brunette placed the barrel at her own temple and looked at Jacelyn.

"I love you Jacelyn." Mrs. Brunette mumbled before pulling the trigger. Blood splattered all over Jacelyn. Jacelyn screamed and cried. Andy rushed to Jacelyn and hugged her tight and so did Zachary. Zachary sobbed and so did Jacelyn. The doctors rushed in and pushed the kids out of the hospital. The police showed up moments later. Jacelyn was shaking horribly. Zachary put his jacket over her shoulders and used a wet paper towel to wipe the blood from her face, all while he tried to help her walk to a bench outside of the hospital and sit her down.

"We're orphans." Jacelyn mumbles through her sobs.

"I know." Zachary hugged her tight and she cried into his shirt. Zachary cried as well and reporters started to surround them.

"Go away! Talk to someone else!" Zachary yelled but the reporters didn't move. So they just ignored them and continued grieving their mother.
