The next day Sawyer, Zachary, Pheobe, Andy, and Jacelyn went and met up at their local coffee shop, Barbell's, and discussed their new theories. They were all partly suspecting the Blinders but none of them had any real evidence to support the theory.
"I don't know, the Blinders are really nice." Jacelyn says
"Are we talking about the same Blinders? The only nice one is Ryan." Sawyer states. He wasn't wrong.
"Well, they've always been nice to me." Jacelyn shrugs
"I wonder if they sell fries here?" Zachary asks, ignoring the others' conversation and entering his own little world while reading the menu.
"Lately, I've noticed how much you love fries." Andy says with a small snicker.
"He loves them more than me." Pheobe laughs joining the joke.
"Sounds to me like you love a lot of things." Jacelyn mumbles at Pheobe cruelty. Everyone's smiles faded and turned to Jacelyn who was sipping her drink.
"Okay, Jacelyn you've been giving me the evil eye ever since the park. What's your deal!?" Pheobe yells and the coffee shop grows quiet.
"Girls, no need to make a scene." Zachary says quietly trying to shush his friends.
"Shut up," Jacelyn mumbles to Zachary. Zachary was hurt at her comment but he didn't show it.
"Don't tell him to shut up! Tell me why you're so mad at me!" Pheobe yells
"Because you tell everyone that you love them and act like it's no big deal!" Jacelyn yells. Sawyer, Andy, and Zachary grew quiet.
"The people I say that to are my friends! I love all my friends I couldn't do anything without them, like Sawyer he's one my best friends and I love him for it. But I love Zachary in a different way!" Pheobe yells using her arms as she speaks.
Jacelyn rolls her eyes and walks out of the shop. Zachary almost ran after her but Andy stood up instead.
"I'll check on her." Andy says to Zachary and runs out after Jacelyn. He exits the building and saw her sitting with her legs against her chest and her head down between them. Andy sat beside her.
"Are you okay?" He asks
"I know what I said was stupid and all but I just don't want Pheobe to hurt my brother. I've seen him heartbroken and I hate seeing him like that." Jacelyn mumbles with her head still in her knees.
"I know how you feel, my older brother was dating this girl that hit him when he did something wrong, he'd come home with a black eye or bruises. He tried to break up with her but she wouldn't leave him alone until he finally got a restraining order." Andy says and Jacelyn finally looks up.
"That's horrible." Jacelyn says
"Yeah, I would stay up worrying about him all night when he stayed the night with her." Andy says and sits with his head laid against the wall behind him.
"Has anything like that ever happened to you?" Jacelyn asks
"No, I've always been a loner. I've never had a girlfriend and most of my old friends just talked bad about me." Andy says with a dismissive shrug.
"Well, now you have friends that won't hurt your feelings." Jacelyn says with a smile.
"Yeah, but having a girlfriend would be better." Andy smiles widely and looks at Jacelyn.
"What are you saying Attkins?" Jacelyn asks and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. She sat up straighter and looked at the boy.
"I'm asking if you like me, like I like you?" Andy asks in a whisper.
Jacelyn then learned in and kissed Andy deeply. "Does that answer your question?"
Andy nodded happily. "Yeah, so are we like..."
"Boyfriend and Girlfriend? Only if you ask." Jacelyn smiles
"Well, Jacelyn - I don't know your middle name- Brunette, will you be my girlfriend?" Andy asks and couldn't help himself from smiling.
"Yes, and my middle name is Dawn." Jacelyn says with a laugh
"Do you want to just go on a walk or something?" Andy asks and Jacelyn nods still smiling to herself.
