Three weeks later, Crendan received a text from Ty Benning.

It said:

-I'm keeping "it", or as I like to call her, my wife. Stay away from us.

As though the State would waste time and resources trying to track four Un-Diligents. However, in a few years, the State would do such things, but not for the Bennings. They had missed the window, and they were safe.

If Crendan possessed feelings, she might have smiled. She passed the interface to Zeemo, and he did smile.

Crendan was too busy thinking about reporting the incident to her superiors. They would want to know the outcome of the Benning composite; no one had expected such a swift assimilation for Jennifer Benning. After all they had put Ty through, and especially after taking Sam, it had been agreed (and even betted on) that the composite Jennifer would be wholly rejected by her husband.

Yet, it hadn't been.

She hadn't been.

Like Crendan had said to Ty, it was interesting, and nothing more.

Hope you enjoyed this one, guys. I enjoyed adding a new ending for Ty, Damon, Sam, and Jennifer.

If you see any glaring edits, please comment or PM me. Thanks!
