War raged over the Sahara desert for weeks, Jaldoormins against the Rondalian Jalansers, Tyan there too, the cheerful Jalanser fighting hard for this world's freedom from Ikan.
Ikan was angry, betrayed by the woman he almost loved, and his plans destroyed by Thatch Dec'lan, he would not let this world slip from his grasp.
By the time the Jalansers had forced back Ikan, they went to count their dead or missing, and among the missing was Tyan.
"I'm sorry," Lika murmured softly as she looked at you. "But I'm afraid Tyan is missing... we can't be sure if he's alive... but he said to give you these..."
And she handed you a box with your name on it.
