It a already been 2 weeks at my new home and you know the story with Cinderella and her meanie stepmother and sisters? Yeah, my life is getting to that.
I got to school a bit late today because my dad wanted to talk to me, again, and I had to change my shirt because of it. I ran to my class barging in the classroom making everyone in the class look at me and mumble to each other.
I bit my bottom lip nervously and playing with the end of my shirt.
"Link please, don't come in late like that again." Fi sighed.
"Sorry..." I mumbled.
"Just go to your seat and get started." I nodded and walked to my desk, slumping down in a chair.
A small piece of paper hit the side of my head as I turned my head to where it could've come from. I saw Dark Link and Groose laugh to themselves avoiding eye contact from me. I groaned turning around and looking at my math worksheet.
A screeching noise came from beside me, not even bothering to check what it was I kept my eyes to my paper.
"Hey, Link. Why you coming in late - again!" Dark Link laughed. I glanced at him then back down. I really didn't have the strength or was in the mood to do anything. But when do I ever?
"Yeah, never seen you this late. Wait.. oh yeah you were just s couple of days ago huh? What's going on Link?" Groose asked, sarcasm slipping through his mouth.
"Nothing..." I grumbled.
I could feel both their eyes glaring at the side of my head. I looked to my right side, seeing Dark Link glare at me but then smile softly.
"Look, Link, why don't we just talk about what's going on..." he trailed off.
"Why would you care? All you do is cause most of it!" I spat.
"Whoa, Link, that hurts you know that." He gasped, holding his hand to his chest pretending to act hurt.
"... sure it does..." I mumbled.
"What was that Link? I couldn't hear you." Dark Link smirked, his hand to his ear as if he didn't hear me.
"Nothing!" I shouted and immediately regretted it.
My teacher, Fi, turned around and looked at me with her hands on her hips.
"Link could you not shout in class, please? You were already late today and disrupted my class, I don't want you to do it again." Scolded Fi.
"Sorry Fi..." I mumbled lightly.
She sighed crossing her arms, "It's alright Link. Just, don't shout next time Okay? And Dark Link, go to your seat."
"Sorry miss." With that Dark Link moved back to his seat, Groose following close behind him.

The bell rang as everyone hurried outside to- of course- go to the swings. I didn't bother to hurry outside because I would just go to my usual spot under the tree.
I walked over to my tree slowly but when I got there, someone was in my spot. Someone I didn't know at all. I approached closer to them as the book they were reading was covering their face. The book was Green eggs and ham.
I stood in front of them shyly, rocking back and forth from my heel to toe. I was about to say something until I saw the book slowly lower down revealing the unknown person.
"Oh, hello..." they mumbled softly, looking down at their book.
"H-hi." I waved.
The young child smiled softly, putting down their book to their side.
"Do you need something?"
I shook my head, looking at them. The kid was about my age or so possibly a year younger but even if they were, I was still scared.
"Then why are you just standing there?" The kid giggled.
"Um... I was... erm..." I was lost for words. I didn't know what to say.
"Or is because I'm a girl?" She asked warily, fiddling with her dress.
"Wh-what? No! It's not because of that it's just... well..." I gulped trying to bring up my courage to say something. "This usually where I sit at recess... and I didn't expect for anyone to sit here too..." I mumbled.
Her eyes widen a little as she pouted slightly "Oh, I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to take your spot." She stood up, grabbing her book as she stood.
"Wait No! It's Okay, you can sit here. With me. If you want to..." I said shyly. She smiled at me with her blue eyes staring into mine.
"You sure?" She held her book to her chest, making small circles with her finger on the spine of the book.
I nodded stiffly with a soft smile. She smiled sweetly and sat back down as I take a seat next to her. She fixed her dress and crosses her legs, placing the book on her lap.
"You like that book?" I asked. She nodded in response opening it up to a page.
"Especially this part, 'would you like them in a house? Would you like them with a mouse?' I love that line! It just seems so silly!" She giggled. I chuckled softly. "Yeah it does seem silly but that's why I like that book. Or when it says, 'would you it them in a box? Would you eat them with a fox?' It's funny how it uses a fox and box together." I laughed.
She nodded, looking through the book as we named silly things we like about the book.

"Have you tried Chocolate chip ice cream?" She asked me. I tapped my chin, shaking my head when I had my answer. "No. Don't really go out to eat ice cream often."
"Doesn't your daddy or mommy ask you?" I shook my head again. She sighed sadly but smiled happily.
"Why don't we go out to eat some!" She suggested happily.
"W-what? My dad wouldn't let me. He doesn't really like me going out..." her face fell as she bit her lip as if she was thinking since her nose was scrunching up. I giggled softly at her expression. She looked at me confused asking me why I was laughing but I couldn't say, through my laughter.
"Well, we'll, if it isn't Link all alone!" I stop and looked up at Dark Link.
"I-am not alone. I'm with my friend."
"Yeah okay. Well, tell your "friend" that if they try to stop me they're going to get a beating of their own." He threatened. I looked at him, fear taking over me again. I glanced to my left seeing her scared as I was.
"So if you don't want your friend to get hurt, tell them to leave. Now!" He yelled, grabbing me by the collar of my shirt.
"H-hey!"
"Tell them!" He growled, bringing me closer to his face.
"O-okay... Okay! J-just let me down... p-please..." I begged. He smirked letting me go and land roughly on the floor.
I looked at my friend and gestured her to leave. She shook her head slowly, fear glowing in her blue eyes. 'Please...' I mouthed to her. She sighed, nodding as she stood up walking away and looking back at me worriedly.
"Are they gone now?"
"Yes... she's gone," I mumbled not even trying to make eye contact with him. I kept my gaze to the grass under my feet.
"Good..." he smirked sickingly.
