My spear sliced straight through Yellow's abdomen and cut her in two so quickly I didn't even see myself coming. With a large cloud of dust, Yellow poofed. Another spear sent itself into Yellow Pearl's stomach, and she poofed. Rose clasped the balls of her hand on her temples, eyes wide open. The battle still raged on in the cell below, but neither of us cared. I instantly bubbled Pearl's gem, and Rose did the same to Yellow's.
We didn't send them away, though. Rose looked at me. "I...I..." She stammered, then her cheeks flushed a deep shade of red. "I just changed into Rose...in front of Yellow!"
"Don't get flustered! We don't want any more changes! Well, actually, I would recommend shifting back to Pink Diamond so we can walk somewhere and figure this out. Hide the bubbles, but don't send them away."
Rose smiled. "Maybe you should be the Diamond." This time, it was my own cheeks that became red. She switched back into Pink, then we began down the hallway. Pink was to pick any random room...her private chambers were too far away. And even those were susceptible to guards. They had to find a way to explain everything to Yellow and her Pearl, or find a way to somehow wipe their memory.
I'd poofed Yellow Diamond quickly enough to where she may not have seen who Pink changed into, but I knew Yellow Pearl saw who exactly Pink really was.
Wiping their memories seemed like the most logical option. But I had no idea where to go or how to do such a thing. A thousand questions raged through my mind, filling my ears with what I know Pearl will yell when we unpoof her. You're really Rose Quartz, one of the most dangerous gems ever? My Diamond, we should her!
And if I told her that I was involved in every battle Rose caused: You were involved in all of this? I'd execute them both, My Diamond!
Pink snatched my arm and dragged me into a room, causing me to almost drop Pearl's bubble. Pink slammed the door, turned on the forcefield, then looked around for any gems. She sighed and leaned against one of the pillars. "What are we going to do? Tie them both to a chair until they swear to never tell anyone?"
I rubbed my chin, considering it. It would be relatively easy to do so. Pink waved her hand in the air. "I was joking, Pearl! We can't actually tie them to a chair. We're going to have to do something else."
"I'm not sure..." I rubbed my chin again, suddenly leaning towards binding them both down. Another idea came into my head. "What if we acted like we didn't know what was going on? We keep them both poofed until you've mastered nervousness and anxiety, that way when White or Blue pressures you into changing, you won't actually switch forms."
"We could tell them they were ill and were hallucinating." I suggested, but Pink shook her head.
"Becoming ill is a human thing. They don't even know what hallucinating is."
"You acted ill in the trial room to get out, and it worked. You know, I'm not too sure. I'm just nervous about what they'll say when we unpoof them." Pink fell silent, as did I. What were we going to do?
So we sat and sat, thinking. I knew there was silence around me, but my head was screaming with questions.
I had just poofed a Diamond and her Pearl. And my own Diamond revealed herself as Rose Quartz, an extremely dangerous gem fugitive. And now, we simply stood in a small room alone, holding the two most important gems in Yellow Diamond's court.
Pink took a deep breath and kept her eyes shut. She had crossed her legs and was thinking about how nervous she'd be if she told White about what we had done. Just like I'd asked her to do.
