Fairies soared far above in the sky. Their wings glimmering in the light of the falling sun. The mass of the winged beings flew in all directions and seemed to dance on the evening breeze. In the center two fairies danced around each other, fascinated by the other's appearance. A woman cloaked in an elegant black gown that contrasted beautifully with her warm honey hair glanced at her partner; a man with warm brown eyes, bright orange hair, and a lightly colored suit. Together the represented the difference between the day and night, they, the king and queen of the fairies, enforced the dogma that all of the fairies lived by. They brought peace to the realm they lived and thrived in. Although the presence of humans was always a wary subject that ebbed away at their minds. No fairy sought comfort in solitude, for if they were to feel alone the humans' threat would tear them apart. While most fairies were strong, brave, and strong headed, their minds were as fickle as any humans'. But when the king and the Queen were united the fairies were given hope of a brighter future, one where they could live in harmony with the humans and their minds at ease.
