'When the black moon rises I will have control over your body and you can't do anything about it!' Ichigo's hollow howled in amusement. It irked the young man to no extent that his hollow, a part of him, had the audacity to tell him that. Ichigo, while beyond pissed, calmly strode out of his inner world and into reality where everyone sat impatiently and anxiously around him. He had passed out only moments later no thanks to the hollow. His head throbbed with an unforgiving pain which kept him glued to the floor as he fluttered his eyes open. "Ichigo!" A feminine voice cried in relief of his awakening. This was happening all far too often for both his and her comfort. Orihime held Ichigo tight as he shook off the massive headache that barraged his mind. Ichigo leaned into Orihime's embrace and nuzzled into her shoulder as tears pricked at his eyes. He never wanted anyone to see him cry, least of all Orihime, but the tears came like a river during a storm. They crashed down upon him and wracked his mind. It was pain for his friends to see him in this state, but if he was like this something must have happened. They had known him to be strong and never cry no matter the pain. The reason for Ichigo's fit eluded the band of friends, but did everything to comfort him. Orihime stroked his back and ran her fingers gently through his hair to calm him. Ichigo's tears now flowed in small, stalling streams, and his ragged breath evened out revealing that he cried himself to sleep. Luckily for him, his sleep did not appear to be restless, but rather calm, exactly what he needed. Orihime held Ichigo gently in her arms as he slept, she looked down on the man she loved and almost let her own tears slide down her cheeks. Orihime could not afford to cry, for she needed to be strong for Ichigo's sake. She was his only pillar of light in these dark times, and she wished she could do more to help, but with minimal knowledge of what Ichigo's hollow was trying do, there wasn't much that could be done. Orihime glanced down at Ichigo one more time before drifting to sleep herself.
Upon entering his dream world, Ichigo noticed several things were different. He was in a flower garden filled with hibiscus, asters, morning glories, moon flowers, roses, lilies, and whatever other flower you could name. Ichigo then noticed a large pagoda toward what seemed to be the center of the garden. He walked to it carefully as to not crush the wide array of flowers that bloomed under the moon's crystalline radiance. When Ichigo reached the stairs that led up to the pagoda's main platform he saw an old wooden chair, and sitting in that chair was Orihime. Her Shun Shun Rikka fluttered aimlessly around her like flower petals in the wind. Orihime appeared to be admiring a particularly beautiful hibiscus that was oddly colored blue. It shimmered in the moonlight like metal but had the velvety texture to it. He quietly walked up the stairs and called out to her. She shifted in her chair so that she look at him. "Ichigo!" Orihime exclaimed. "What are you doing here?" Ichigo reassessed his surroundings, and putting two and two together he asked, "Am I in your inner world?" "I would guess so since my Shun Shun Rika are here." Orihime reasoned aloud. "I really is nice here compared to my desolate city." Ichigo thought aloud. "Hey Ichigo," Orihime began softly, "Yes Orihime?" Ichigo asked.
