chapter 4 Weeping Angels

Violets P.O.V (dream)

"I don't think I can do this river" The Doctor said looking into rivers eyes.

"Its for her safety sweetie she will be safer on earth"

The doors of the control room started to pound. "THE DOCTOR AND HIS DAUGHTER WILL BE EXTERIMINATED"

I jolted awake, I remembered everything the dreams, the familiar voices, the blue box it was all real.

"Violet your awake" The Doctor said happily.

I stared at him, the stranger from my dreams. I looked at river the woman from my dreams. My parents.

'Oh my god my parents are aliens from my dreams! Wait that means I'm an alien!' I let out a startled scream.

"I'm an alien" I shouted.

The Doctor and River cast worried glances at me.

"Ah... you know then" The Doctor said slowly.

"Your my parents and your aliens and I dreamed about you and" I stared at them coldly.

"15 years" I shouted. "Did you just forget about me you didn't even visit me"

"Sweetie try to understand..."

"You don't want me I get it" I jumped off the bed and ran away from them I ran towards the grave yard and sat on a tombstone. I dont care if I was disrespecting the dead. My own parents didn't want me and for a second I thought I had found them. They may be my birth parents but their not my family. I heard footsteps I looked up thinking it might be them, but it was a stone statue a couple of feet away from me. I laughed nervously.

"That's very funny" I rolled my eyes and it got closer. I jumped up and backed away slowly.

"Guys whatever your doing stop it" I called out. I kept walking backwards the thing got closer if I even turned my head away once. A hand grabbed my shoulder and I screamed.

"Violet don't take your eyes off that statue, don't look it in the eyes and do not blink"

I sighed in relief to hear The Doctors voice. I kept my eyes on the torso of the statue.

"Don't worry I'm watching this one sweetie"

"Violet I want you to very slowly crouch down and move forward" The Doctor ordered staring at the statue in front of me. I crouched down slowly my school bag unhooked from my back and I moved forward. I stood up I was free. I could escape, but I couldn't just leave them. Then I had an idea.

"Doctor..."

"Violet go back to the TARDIS" he ordered.

I presumed that was what the blue box was called. "I have an idea"

"Violet listen to your..."

"No listen to me" I shouted. "I just meet my parents who left me and never visited me for 15 years the least you can do is listen to me"

I knew they didn't like it but they agreed anyway. "Doctor the statues can't move if your looking at them right?" I asked.

"Yes or when they are facing another Weeping Angel"

I nodded "I'll be back in one minute tops"

"Wait..." but I was already running back to the TARDIS. I knocked on the doors.

"I really need your help" she hummed and the doors opened. I looked for the equipment I needed and jogged back to the grave yard with the chairs and mirrors.

I placed a chair in front of The Doctors statue and the other in front of Rivers. Then I balanced a mirror on both chairs.

"Blink" I ordered.

They blinked at the statues stood still. Just to make sure they blinked again and the statues didn't move. The Doctor laughed.

"Oh, you clever clever girl" he spun me round and I laughed.

"Just like your mother" he smiled.

My laugh died and I looked away from them. I still wasn't able to forgive them for leaving me.

"Will you listen to our reason" The Doctor said seriously.

I had to at least listen to there reason. "Explain" I sighed.

"Well first thing it was for your safety" River said. "We had to keep your protected from the Daleks, they wanted to use you as a weapon against the Doctor to kill him and destroy you, we couldn't let that happen so we sent you to earth, to a loving family that would take you in. We gave you a locket, it hides your true identity your a Timelord like your father. The locket made the cells in your body human"

"What are Daleks and Time lords"

"Timelords were an old race, they live for a really long time, when your dying. We regenerate and become a whole different person. I'm the last Timelord or at least I was" The Doctor said looking at me.

"Daleks their the enemy. In a war against the daleks Galifray was destroyed"

"Oh...I had no idea" I looked at The Doctor he had sadness in his eyes. There was only one thing I could say.

"I'm so sorry" I whispered. He looked at me and smiled.

"Do you want to go on an adventure, all of time and space where do you want to go" he said brightly.

"Doctor, I have to get back to storm cage"River said she typed something on her wrist band. "Look after her" she warned and disappeared. I blinked.

"What just happened" I asked.

"Vortex manipulater transports you anywhere" The Doctor said.

I smiled "Do I get one"

"NO!" He shouted.

I pouted "But why it could be a late birthday present" "Way overdue" I added under my breath.

"No way I'm not having you running around time and space causing trouble Missy" he said firmly.

"We've just meet how do you know I'm going to get into trouble" I protested.

"because your my daughter and the fact that you ran away from school" he said looking at me sternly.

"Oh...that" I mumbled awkwardly.

"Why were you running anyway?" he asked.

I couldn't tell him the truth or he'd freak.

"I had a tough day" I settled on telling him.

"Violet" he warned.

"I'm telling the truth I swear" I rose my hands in surrender.

I could tell he didn't believe me, he folded his arms across his chest.

"Were not going anywhere until I tell you are we"

"Nope"

I sighed. "I ran from school because I get bullied and Anna the leader of her gang humiliated me in front of the whole school...then told everyone that I'm an orphan and that it was the best decision my parents made" I felt tears in my eyes her words stung. I swallowed quickly I wasn't going to cry.

The Doctor placed a hand on my shoulder. "Leaving you with another parent on another planet was the hardest decision that River and I had to make violet understand that OK"

I smiled. "So can we go know. I want to go on an adventure"

The Doctor smiled brightly. "Anywhere" we went to the TARDIS.
