Doctors P.O.V

I felt guilty for making Violet go back to the TARDIS, though I seriously doubt she will listen to me! She is just like her mother...rebellious. I knew she was furious and upset about the torture these children had been through, she had been bullied for most of her life and the thought that someone could do something as sadistic as this to children! It made her angry, which is one of the reasons I sent her away. If there is one thing in the entire universe you do not want to cross its the rage of a timelord, if I let her come with us, she could destroy this entire planet. I also didn't want her to get hurt I have no doubt that the energy readings coming from that cell are phenomenal! An energy of that kind is enough to kill planets ten times over, and its definitely enough to turn child soldiers into super warriors.

" Doctor"

I looked back at Amy as she opened a door, except this door had something to hide instead of the usual glass or crystal the door was made out of iron the whole room was! I opened the door and peered inside immediately I was hit with an odour, the odour of unwashed bodies.

"Oh my god" Amy whispered tears filling her eyes, Rory held onto her hand tightly.

"All of them...those cages...Doctor they can't even crouch we have to get them out of there!" She pleaded.

We surrounded by hundreds of glass cells each cell held a small thin child, most were sleeping some were crying and others were begging to be let out. I turned around and looked at Rory he nodded and I hugged Amy she clutched onto my back and cried.

"I know" I told her softly. I kissed her on the forehead and she looked me in the eyes.

"We get these childen out of here then we find who did this" She said determinedly.

I nodded and a plan starts to form in my mind. "Right these cells have automatic locks so somewhere around here is a keyhole that the locks open to...Aha!"

I found the keyhole by the door and soniced it. After a moment the lock clicked and a symphony of popping echoed around the room. The children seemed to wake looking dazed.

"Listen up" Rory shouted.

The children moved as one solid mass as they turned their heads towards us not one of them spoke or moved all they did was stare. I felt anger bubble inside me, I was to late these children were already brainwashed. They wouldn't know who they were anymore the only thing they would know was fear and violence. Rory was about to speak again but I stopped him.

"All of you go back to your cells sorry for waking you" I shouted.

They looked at each other then moved back to their cells locking themselves in and waiting for orders.

"What are you doing" Amy hissed.

"Look at them Amy look at how they moved, they moved together synchronized their brainwashed they don't know who they are anymore. There's no point bringing them back to thier families because they won't remember them, their minds are filled with violence if we set them free in the city, it will get very, very bloody"

Amy shook her head "Doctor we can't just leave them here, Doctor, Doctor!" She shouted after me but I was already leaving. I knew what I had to do and I didn't like it but it was my only option. Either I let these children go to war and die or I bring them back to their families and have the blood of the entire Crystallian race on my hands.

"Doctor there must be something we can do" Rory insisted stopping me from going any further.

"The must be something anything, that's better then this, please" Amy begged.
