Personality— Even though Avis turns into a bird that is pretty much just fire, he is doesn't have much of a temper, or can be described as "chill". At least, that's what he acts like. His emotions don't usually show unless he gets into something he is quite passionate about, —such as the stories he tells that he had been told or expierienced in his past lives— his emotions are out in the open, showing how he feels about the story instead of just a blank, yet analytical, stare. Avis is definately open-minded, accepting any opinions or thought on himself or other topics. Despite this, he can be quite choosy on who he will allow into his actual friends group, even when he talk to just about everybody. Avis can get really stressed when in situations with large social gatherings or given too many options/tasks. It is really hard for him to talk about his feelings because he has been blocking them off with telling the facts and details. He does get comfortable with his truly trusted friends, giving out a blast of surprisingly dark humour, a bit of wittiness, and a ton of loyalty.

Small Backstory— Being basically a phoenix means Avis has had a few different lives. Originally, he was born around 1955 BC, which was during the Ancient Greece time period. He has died and rebirthed five times the current life being the fifth.
Other— His clothes are specially made to not be flammable without having to be uncomfortable. He will sit in fires or won't use hot pads/oven mits when baking because he can't feel it and he will get really cold sometimes. He achieved full height at eleven years old, reflecting on the age process of an eagle, —as myths have said a phoenix is relitively the size of said bird— as they reach their full height in ten to twelve weeks after hatching.
Power Form
Type— Transformation/Emitter
Definition— Avis has the power to transform himself into a phoenix, a fiery bird that some people seem to think of as myths. He uses the same abilities as a phoenix, some of the abilities being able to be used in his human form. When uncontrolled, he can be liable to burst into flames [ which is usually his hair, hands, and/or tips of his ears ] or pop into his phoenix form at any given time.
Pros—
● Lots of stories to tell from his previous lives.
● Healing Tears can be used on others and himself, even in human form!
● Can use fire as protection.
● Enhanced strength, sight, smell, taste, hearing, and metabolism.
● Can regenerate lost tissue, missing limbs, or broken bones of himself.
● Can revive after death.
● He can talk to birds, but only in his phoenix form.
● Really light despite his height.
Cons—
● His bones are hollow, making them easier to break than normal bones.
● After each regeneration, he has to learn his abilities over again.
● He remembers every death. His own and others.
● If you disturb/scatter his ashes, he will have a permanent death.
● He has to see mortals die as he doesn't physically age.
● He can help wounds that are shown, be he has to be sobbing to heal large/grievous wounds.
● Internal bleeding, diseases, or missing limbs cannot be healed be tears and must be treated by a professional doctor or nurse.
