personality • Lynn, at first, seems as if he doesn't care about people, usually bland until he cracks a few jokes, which are usually macabre and/or joking about/making fun of a person. He doesn't always detect some expressions, and body language, so he may or may not see if someone is uncomfortable or hurt by his statement. A person would have to say that they're not comfortable or were hurt by what he said rather than using body language.
He is very stubborn on what he wants to do, as well as needing to keep his schedule as tight as possible; it's like he has to keep working or he would die, just as a shark would if it stopped moving. If Lynn goes if his schedule, he can go into a serious panic attack, especially if he was going to do/was doing something for/with someone else; Lynn can take himself out of it, but it takes a little bit.

bg • Lynn grew up in a strict, religious household that required him to have a hard-set schedule. If he accidentally or tried to slack on something, he would get punished to stop him from doing it again. Due to this over time, he grew the fear of this –understandably so, usually flinching when someone raises a hand toward him. Lynn has promised himself that he would never do anything bad his parents had done toward others through anger/frustration, as he wouldn't want to repeat history within himself. Lynn has to talk it out with the person that he's frustrated/arguing with, otherwise he leaves the area –if he can– in order to blow off his steam. The religious part of him had faded away once he was kicked out of the house once he became eighteen.
As a kid, he always had trouble with expressing and understanding others' and his own emotions and feelings. His bursts of emotions throughout his child and teen years –Lynn's parents didn't believe medicine actually help people– had gotten him into trouble, as it happened when people wanted to go at him or when he got frustrated in general, whether for there was too much going on at the time or he couldn't understand an assignment, even with a teacher(s)'s or peer(s)'s help.
Lynn was often poked at for these things in most school years of his life until college despite having the top grades and behaviour, graduating with valedictorian in junior high and high school. Currently, he is a college calculus professor. Lynn is also now on medications to help with (most of) his issues.
