References | ——————— APPEARANCE \/ —— Tomomi is about the right height they should be, if not a slight bit shorter, and is a little over average in weight, but is still built like a column. Their eyes and face are round, and they look younger than they are, maybe eleven or twelve. Their hair is kind of close to being a rat's nest, but is considerably neater than when they wake up; the only time when they really have their hair "neat" is when they put it in a pony tail when stressed, concentrating, or heroing. Said hair is walnut brown, their eyes are green, and they have four symmetrical freckles in the shape of a diamond on each cheek. At U.A. High School, Tomomi wears the complete standard uniform: the grey blazer with dark turquoise trimmings, a white dress shirt, dress pants, a red tie, and brown shoes. If they are not feeling too well, they wear their boots because the boots make Tomomi happy. When not at school or heroing, Tomomi wears a red and black checkered flannel blouse that ties in the front, white skinny jeans, and red boots that have black soles, black toes, black heels, black laces with silver sparkles, and a one-inch heel. Tomomi's hero suit is meant for easier movement while dancing, as well as shock support for catching fast moving objects and landing after levitating. Their shock supports are elbow/knee braces, padded fingerless gloves(right is red, left if white), and boots have a very similar shape/pattern but are white with red toes/soles/heels, a sole that is padded to a width of one inch, and an inch-high heel after that. The rest of the suit is composed of a black short-sleeve button-up shirt with little magnets on it, a red fabric belt, black pantaloons that stop at above the knee, and black socks that reach to their mid-calf and have little magnets on them. ——————— PERSONALITY \/ —— POSITIVES 1. Plans Ahead: Going in blind into something is something Tomomi cannot do mentally, so they have pre-made plans that they can lay out quickly and apply different plans to similar situations, and will synthesise the plans if necessary. 2. Meticulous: Tomomi always makes sure to pay attention to just about every last detail that they can catch and piece it all together into one big thing so that they can understand it fully, including people. 3. They find interest in many things that may or may not be all that interesting to others, and try to make those "less interesting" things more interesting for others. This includes little details about some people, plus they try to find at least a little bit of light in people's hearts. 4. Supportive: Encouraging and helping those who need it is one of Tomomi's main goals. NEUTRALS 1. Loyal to a Fault: When Tomomi trusts someone and they make promises, then they know they have to go by their word and fulfil those things. If they said that they would help someone with something and it starts to look kind of iffy, they still go through with it until it gets to the point where they know what they are doing isn't actually good. 2. Overachiever: When going into something, Tomomi wants to go all the way with as much power as they can, as best as they can, and as smart as they can. Sometimes, however, that ends up making Tomomi look like they think they are better than everyone else, even though that's not true at all. 3. Humble: Tomomi simply doesn't brag, boast, or even really talk about any of their achievements unless they really have to. Their being humble, though, can get to the point that almost anything great that they do "wasn't much". 4. Forgiving: They forgive people for small, accidental things that were actually apologised for, but also things that are big, done on purpose, and/or things that were never apologised for. If you hurt Tomomi? "It's fine, it could have been worse." NEGATIVES 1. Reluctant to Change: Traditions and habits are definitely hard to break with Tomomi, unless you persuade them heavily into change through long a convincing process. 2. Quick to Self-Doubt: Once there is one mistake, the entire world might as well just explode for Tomomi, and they would blame themselves for almost anything someone else did. 3. Takes Poor to (Negative)Criticism: When given criticism/feedback, they take it to their heart, especially when it's negative. It practically destroys Tomomi because they work so hard on so many things. 4. Spreads Self Too Thin: Since Tomomi wants everyone to have help, be helped, be happy, etc., they try to go to each and every single one of those people and practically overloads themselves. If one thing goes wrong or they finally catch a break, cue a sobbing mess. ——————— ABILITIES \/ —— OVERALL ABILITIES Tomomi analyses situations and other people, memorising those observations or writing them down with as much detail as possible, usually the detailed information is compacted to the point that it usually only makes sense to them. They find different videos of Ochako of when she uses her quirk, whether in battle or not, such as the entrance exam or the U.A. Sports Festival. Tomomi also looks at quirks that are similar to theirs, as well as asking questions to Ochako and Inku about their quirks and how Tomomi could improve on how they could make their quirk better. Tomomi is highly flexible and can move quickly. QUIRK Magnetism(磁気(マグネットイズム), Magunettoizumu) is a combination of Zero Gravity(ZG) and the Attraction of Small Objects(AoSO), but AoSO is technically just Attraction of Objects(AoO) in relation to this. Though Tomomi's quirk is not actual magnetism, it and actual magnetism share the basic forces. ZG acts as the repulsive force, where it polarises the effects of Earth's gravity upon the touching objects with all five finger pads. AoO acts as the attractive force, as said in the name, using several hand/arm movements with partial telekinesis. The maximum weight tolerance for ZG is 1.5 tons, while AoO is 3/4 of Tomomi's body weight. The maximum speed/velocity of AoO is 9.8 m/s, the velocity of Earth's gravity. SUPER MOVES • Homecoming(帰省, kisei): After going behind the opponent(s) and using ZG upon several objects, Tomomi then goes back in front of the opponent(s), dancing with dramatic movements of their arms/hands and bringing the objects Home and into the opponent(s). • Drag(ドラッグ, doraggu): Though it does not always work on larger opponents, Tomomi can home in on a single object on an opponent's body to drag them forward. It has to be a secure item, otherwise it might rip from the opponent's body. This could also be done for entertainment purposes. •Drag/Release(ドラッグリリース, doraggurirīsu): This is combined with Ochako's Skill Release, Homecoming, and Drag, where Tomomi can Drag opponents into a certain area after using ZG on several objects in the area, then gaining a higher ground to dance and start bringing the objects Home, then touching all five finger pads on each hands to each other to Release the objects onto the opponent(s)'s head/bodies.
