Stubborn Love: Greetings

Kanda POV
   A cool feeling eased my aching head, I sat up startling the nurse. A frown plastered her pale wrinkled face, she quickly bowed shuffling out the door. I scanned my surrounding. A plain decorated room with beds scattered every which way most of them were empty. I moved my hand brushing against something. I looked down to find Toma sleeping soundly. I reached over gently shaking him. Nothing. 'Well if that's how it is,' I thought as I gently (not really) flicked his forehead. Now that worked he bolted upward rubbing his head before stretching a yawn escaped his lips.
   "Morning' si- er I mean Kanda"
   "Morning so where am I"
   "The infirmary," he pointed at the equipment I was currently hooked on. I sighed pulling the equipment off, swinging my legs over the side of the bed my clothes lay neatly folded on the bedside table. Mugen stood against the wall. I quickly dressed. Tying my long black hair with a midnight blue hair- tie. I grabbed Mugen as I walked out of the infirmary towards the dining hall. Voices echoed through the empty hallways as I got closer. I walked into the dining hall which was bustling with people. Finders and exorcists scattered about talking or sobbing (mostly finders).' They should be used to this crap. These things happen in war' I thought glaring at them.
   "Yu-chan!!!"
   " What the hell do you want", I turned towards the redhead named Lavi his arms were stretched out with the intentions of  hugging me. Noticing my death glare he stopped leaving enough space between us.
   "I came to say hi since you've been unconscious for some time now"
   "Well hi. Now fuck off."
   He reached over squeezing my cheeks," Aww. You're so cute when you get mad"
    I quickly slapped his hands away rubbing my sore cheeks. He continued, " Anyway Komui wants to see you."
   "What does he want now"
   "A new exorcist has arrived and let me just say she is down right sexy. I mean she is well endowed and with a gorgeous face. And did I mention she's sexy. But anyway you're going on a mission with her. There waiting for you in his office so..."
   I didn't hear the rest I was already on my way to Komui's office. 'So much for a break' I thought rubbing my temples.  Narrator POV
   Lavi watched the long haired male walk out before he had finished talking. 'Hmph. So rude but a Kanda will be a Kanda', he thought, sighing he turned rejoining his friends at their usual table for lunch. Lenalee looked up curious of how his talk went with Kanda.
   "So was it good did he threaten to kill you?" raising an eyebrow.
   "Eh, yeah it was okay. Kind of mad though. I guess he was hoping for a little break so telling him about a mission made even more pissed."
   "Isn't he always like that?" Allen asked, food fell from his mouth. Lenalee glared giving him a disgusted face. He simply shrugged.
   "Hopefully Saka will make him feel better. I mean with that body and face. She could make me the happiest man al-" a plate flew hitting Lavi smack back dab in the face causing him to fall back. He sat up rubbing his cheek which had begun to swell. Lenalee looked down her hands balled into fists a murderous aura surrounded her.
   "Lavi don't say those things. You're so disgusting"
   Allen piped up from behind, "Lenalee a Lavi will be a Lavi. No matter what."
   She huffed in frustration before reseating herself on the table. A small smiled curled her glossy pink lips.
   "But it would be kind of cute to see them together. Anyway we better finish eating so we could say goodbye to them."
   She didn't need say no more for Allen started devouring the mountain of food before him. She shook her head before  letting out small giggle.
   Lavi sat on the floor a mischievous smiled darkened his face a glint formed in his eyes. Lavi had a plan up his sleeve and it either ended good or horribly wrong.
