Chapter 24

 THIRD PERSON POV

"Hold on Mal" Carlos said. Mal turned around to see Bella on her feet with Jay and Carlos helping her stand, Mal smiled and Carlos continued "maybe good is more powerful then evil." Maleficent laughed, "Oh, please! You're killing me!" She looked at Bella, "How do you, mange to not get affect by my magic, I can do damage but you always bounce back?" "It's because good is more powerful then evil!" Bella shouted. Maleficent barked at Carlos thinking that it would scare Carlos but it didn't, it only made Dude come and jump on her. Maleficent held the dog, "Oh! Oh, dog breath! Get off!" Maleficent pushed Dude away and Jay ran over tried to grab the Dragon's eye out of Maleficent's grip. Instead Maleficent smiled, she went close to his face her eyes glowing green. She rubbed his arm "Gaston should be jealous" She said laughing. She tapped Jay's forehead and he fell back. She laughed and then became serious. "Enough! You'll all regret this!!" Maleficent yelled, her green smoke surrounded her. When it cleared the five kids looked at her in shock, Maleficent became a purple, black, and green dragon. "Just like in the tale" Bella thought. The kids continued to look at the dragon in shock. Maleficent blew fire at them and they ran down the aisle. Maleficent went after Jay, wherever he ran she followed. Jay ran through the crowd and hid behind a pillar, Maleficent easily found him. Jay fell to the floor and Bella scream. "JAY!" She yelled "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Jay continued running and Bella thought of an idea. "JAY COME HERE!" Bella yelled. Jay started to run over, Bella looked over at Evie. "Use the magic mirror!" Bella yelled. Evie pulled her mirror. "Magic mirror shine a bright light!" Evie yelled holding her mirror and shining the light in Maleficent's eyes. Maleficent fell to the ground, shaking the ground while doing so. Maleficent shook her head trying to get the light out of her eyes. "Behind me, E!" Mal yelled, pushing Evie behind her. "Leave me and my friends alone!" Mal yelled "this is between you and me mother!" Maleficent came closer and her and Mal started staring into each other's eyes. Maleficent roared at Mal. "The strength of evil's good as none, when stands before fours hearts as one" Mal chanted, her eyes glowed and so was Maleficent's. "The strength of evil's good as none, when stands before fours hearts as one" Mal changed again. She continued to do so, for each of her villain friends that were standing with her. "The strength of evil's good as none, when stands before four hearts as one." As Mal chanted nothing seemed to happen, Mal was running of ideas and Bella could see that. Bella thought fast and walked up to Mal putting her hand on her shoulder. Bella glared at Maleficent and chanted. "The strength of evil's good as none, when stands before FIVE heats as one!" Bella shouted. Maleficent looked at Bella in shock and flapped her wings and disappeared in her own green smoke. "What just happened?" Evie asked. "No idea!" Mal said. "Bella, what did you do? And how did you do that?" "I just decided that the power five hearts were better than the power of four, other than that I have no idea" Bella answered as the Fairy Godmother unfroze. Fairy Godmother rushed down the steps and toward the five kids. "No, no, no, no. Your mother did. She shrank to the size of the love in her heart. That's why she's so itty-bitty." Fairy Godmother said looking down. Bella and Carlos let out a laugh as they saw a small lizard. "Oh my goodness! Is that her?" Bella asked. "Yes, that's Maleficent" Fairy Godmother said. Mal looked at her mother's form and said, "Is she going to be like that forever?" "Forever is too long" Fairy Godmother replied, "you learned to love, so can she." Mal and the other laughed. "I think this belongs to you" Fairy Godmother said handing Mal Ben's ring. "And Bella this belongs to you." Bella looked at Fairy Godmother confused. "Fairy Godmother, what are you taking about?" "Just because I was frozen, doesn't mean I couldn't see what was happening. I am the Fairy Godmother after all..." Fairy Godmother handed Bella a new crown. "You may not be a queen but you definitely deserve to be one." Fairy Godmother handed her a new crown, Bella covered her mouth in shock. "Fairy Godmother" She said in awe. "When your brother is ready he will past down his crown to his children but instead he will have to past it down to you" Fairy Godmother said. "Thank you, so much but I can't take this. I never want to be queen. That is what my heart is tell me. Thank you but I can't take this." Bella said. "Ok, do what your heart tells you" She smiled "You have all earned yourself an "A" in goodness class." Everyone laughed and smiled. Fairy Godmother gave Bella a hug before turning around, waving her wand around in a circle. "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!" The hall unfroze, the villain kids and Bella jumped slightly as two roars filled the hall. Ben raced off the dais and towards Mal as Belle ran over to her husband. Mal stopped Ben from running her over. "Okay! Okay Ben! It's okay!" Mal said. Ben looked at Mal for a second and then picked her up hugging her, twirling her around in a circle. Mal and Ben laughed. "Next time, let me save you" Ben said. "Yeah okay, but least hope there isn't a next time" Mal said laughing. Ben looked around looking for his sister, and when he saw her he let go of Mal and ran over to his sister hugging her tightly. "Bella! You are okay!" Ben yelled. Belle and Adam looked up and saw their only daughter, they did what any other parent would do. They ran up to their children and hugged them both. The family had a huge group hug, Belle looked at her daughter. "We saw what was happening, sweetie are you alright?" She said looking at her daughter making sure not a single hair was out of place. "I'm fine mom, don't worry" Bella said. Adam looked at Carlos and motioned him to come over, Carlos looked nervous but he came over anyway. "Son, I'd like to thank you for saving my daughter." "I'd do anything for her" Carlos said. "Thank you so much" Bella said. She caught him off-guard by giving him a hug, Carlos hugged back knowing that Bella would appreciate it. "It was no problem" He said. "See, I told you that you would like him" Bella said looking at her parents. They laughed and gave Bella another hug.
