I sat on the roof of the Hokage building, once again in a meditation position. I cautiously let my chakra flow and picked up on the Third's office. Three hidden ANBU's were in his room as well, and I scoffed as I opened my eyes to break from my trance. The ANBU's were barely concealed; Could one really miss their presence? I think even the little genin in this city could notice them. I had been seated on this roof for little over 30 hours now, calmly awaiting the return of Team 7. Despite my stomach hurting immensely from its lack of food, I simply ignored the urge to scavenge town. I had an apple a day and a half ago, and my body would just have to accept that it would not get more until the team was back. I was hoping to listen in on Kakashi's mission report by seating myself here, and judging by the excited yells of Naruto, it seems my patience has finally paid off. Team 7 is home. My green eyes glanced down at the street as I lazily concealed my chakra, watching in amusement as Sakura hid Naruto on the back of his head for being loud. ''Go home and rest, you have earned it. I will report to the Hokage.'' Kakashi spoke to his team, rolling his one visible eye as they all took off home immidiately. I honestly do not blame them. Their mission was far above their rank, and I have no doubts that their last fight with Gato and his men drained them from their energy. Not to mention the long travel back home.

I stood up as I watched Kakashi enter the building, and stretched my arms above my head. Time to listen in. I send a calm wave of chakra to my feet so I glued them to the building, casually sauntering on its wall towards the window of the Third's office. I leaned in enough to peek through the window, right as Kakashi entered the room. ''Hokage-sama.'' He spoke with a certain respect in his words, bowing down to the old man before him. I shifted my gaze from him to the Hokage and arched a brow. The Leaf's precious Hokage was an old man, and judging by the amount of paperwork on his desk, a lax one. His wrinkled face curled in a smile as he watched the Jounin before him, blowing smoke from his mouth that he gained from his pipe. The mighty Hokage smoked?

''I come for the mission report, Hokage-sama. There were a few... interesting developments.'' Kakashi started, hesitating as he choose a fitting word. So I was considered interesting? A smirk formed itself on my face at the thought that I left an impression on Kakashi, enough to have him find me interesting. Perhaps I was looking too deep into his words, but for my own amusement I felt I could safely do so. ''Ah yes. Tazuna send me a hawk, explaining what happened with Gato's men on the bridge. He also mentioned two assassination attempts by highly ranked ninja, but a third party had taken care of those.'' The Hokage summed up, a thoughtful look on his wrinkled face as he recalled the letter from the messenger hawk. Kakashi nodded, and the spark in his eyes made him seem angered that Tazuna had given half of the story away already. I could not help but find the reaction childish, and admittedly, somewhat adorable. He was like a spoiled toddler, what is not cute about that? ''Hai, Hokage-sama. A boy by the name of Kaiame. His appearance made me guess that he was about nine years old, although he was mature far beyond his age. Not only did he single-handedly kill the Demon Brothers who were going to ambush us, he also killed Zabuza Momochi and Haku the Ice Demon. He healed all Team 7's injuries, and if he had not healed me, I am sure I would of died from exhausting my Sharingan-Eye.'' He almost sounded proud of me, but I was not focussed on what all he said. He thought I was nine!? I am eleven, not nine. Despite being small and thin due to lack of food for years, I was not an idiotic and mindless brat of nine. I felt the need to rectify the situation immidiately, and shunshinned into the office.

''Eleven.'' I said in an emotioness voice, standing next to Kakashi. Shocked by my sudden appearance, a few things happened within seconds. Kakashi jumped to the side, reaching for a kunai. The Third Hokage stood up swiftly from his chair, his smoke-pipe falling on the desk. And three concealed ANBU all attacked me at once. I should have expected it, really. An outsider appearing in the Hokage's office without any sign beforehand, was most definitely a red flag to these brainless brawns. It was a quick and swift battle, where I tip-toed in my dance through the room to jab my fingers in certain pressure points on the three ANBU. By the time I stood still, they all sunk to their knees and face-planted the floor. Unconcious. ''As I was saying, I am eleven not nine.'' I continued matter-of-factly, nudging one of the ANBU with my big toe. Their masks were interesting. I turned my head to Kakashi, who had left his kunai untouched the moment he recognised me. I gave him a nod in acknowledgement before turning my piercing stare to the baffled Hokage. Let's see how this will go. ''Kaiame, I presume?'' The Hokage said cooly, sitting back down. He did not stutter, consider me impressed. I gave a simple nod of my head, stuffing my hands in my pockets. ''Please tell me why you thought killing three ANBU would help your case?'' He continued, still on edge.

I smirked, kicking the heel of my foot into one of the ANBU's sides. He grunted. ''They are alive. Their muscles just refuse to work. Am I not allowed to defend myself when attacked?'' I arched one of my brown eyebrows, staring at the Third impassively. ''I come here not with foul intent. Your precious Copy Cat Ninja invited me here. Upon hearing him presuming my age to be nine--'' I narrowed my eyes when I said the number, clearly displeased. ''--I decided to rectify the situation and explain that I am in fact, eleven.'' For a moment, no one in the room spoke after I was done. And despite the feeling that I was in enemy territory, I held a relaxed stance. Tensing up now would only keep the Hokage on guard. ''.... You are allowed to defend yourself, you are right. If you could be so kind as to undo what it is you did, then they can leave as we discuss matters.'' He spoke slowly, finally picking up his pipe again. Discuss matters? What could he possibly want to discuss? I gave a sharp nod and bend down, jabbing my fingers in certain spots. With grunts and groans of complaint, the shaky ANBU stood up and glared at me. I did not see it due to the masks of course, but I could feel their hatred burn on my skin. With a wave of the Hokage's hand, the three ANBU reluctantly left the room. ''I did not expect you to follow me, Kaiame.'' Kakashi finally spoke up, turning his one uncovered eye to me. I gave him a smug smile. ''I did not follow you and your little team, Hatake. I have been here for 30 hours, ontop of this building's roof. Meditating. Awaiting your return.'' As I revealed this piece of information, I saw a shocked look cross the old man's face. Of course he was shocked, he and his guards failed to notice an eleven year old boy ontop of their building. They should be shocked.

Kakashi stared at me, almost as if not believing me. Then, recalling what he had seen of my skills, he gave a simple nod. He believes me. I turn towards the Third, getting straight to the point. I was getting impatient rapidly. ''You said you wish to discuss matters. Do enlighten, what kind of matters you were speaking of?'' I said in a friendlier tone this time, trying to convey that I was not here to harm anyone. The Hokage seemed shocked at my way of speaking, which was far more mature then any child of my age. I spoke like I had lived many lifetimes already, and possessed a vast knowledge of life itself. And in a way, I would say both are true. He exhaled some smoke, before slowly replying. ''Simple. Who are you, why did you help Kakashi and his team, and why are you here now.'' He listened the questions sharply, and I fought the urge to roll my eyes. Had I not answered all those questions already? This was getting troublesome. And once something was troublesome to me, I ignored it. Just like I ignored the Hokage as I sped out the window and to the roof. I let my sensory abilities flow, and ran from rooftop to rooftop until I found the one where I felt some of Kakashi's chakra in it. His appartment. I would await him here, as I did promise to visit him.
