Ignored again

Lucy's P.O.V

I rose to the ray of sunshine that touched my face in the comfort of the early morning. I showered quickly, dressed more decently in jeans, and a silk shirt, black with gold embroidered fringe, and quickly had a light breakfast.
I looked in the mirror and laughed. What a different me! No longer I wore those revealing clothes... how could I, after what I had heard?
Has it already been a month? It seemed like a year....
I can still recall that day so clearly, Erza was eating cake, Natsu and Gray were fighting, I was chatting with Mira.... until the doors opened and a pretty girl with white bobbed hair, and large blue eyes burst into the guild.

"Hey, I'm back! It's me, guys, I'm back! Mira-nee! Elf-niichan! Natsu!"
Everyone stood in shocked silence, the tension skyrocketed, and then Mirajane jumped over to her. "Lisanna! My little sister, you're back!"
Elfman joined in their embrace. Natsu stood, astounded.
"Lis.... I thought.... I thought you were dead! Lis! Oh my God, Lis...." And he rushed to embrace her close. I asked Happy, "Who's that? She looks a lot like Mirajane."
Happy was in tears, tears of extreme joy. "Lisanna, she is Mira's sister, and Natsu's best friend! She... she died two years back. But she's back now! Oh... Lucy... I'm so happy that I'm going to cry! She raised me.... LISANNA!"
And Happy rushed over to hug her. The girl held Happy close, and said with tears in her eyes. "I'm so glad to be back here... with Mira-nee, Elf-niichan, and everyone else!"
Only I, Wendy, Gajeel, Juvia, and Carla stood distant, as we did not know her. Even Master hugged her, and we understood that she was a treasured comrade. She then came over to us, and smiled shyly. She really was sweet, I automatically smiled back.
"Hey, I'm Lisanna Strauss. I use animal take over. I guess you're new here? A bit late for me to say, but welcome to the guild! I hope we can get along!"
I smiled gladly at her, she really seemed nice.
"I'm Lucy Heartfilia, a celestial wizard, this is Wendy Marvel, a sky dragon slayer, and her exceed Carla, this is Gajeel Redfox, an iron dragon slayer, and Juvia Lockser, a water mage. Nice to meet you, Lisanna!"
"You too, guys!" She managed to say before being dragged off by the jubilant guild. We partied late that day, except that not much attention was paid to us. To be expected, right? After all, a precious member had returned from the dead!
Well, the fact was, Lisanna didn't actually die, but was transported to Edolas, a parallel universe. When their ruler decreed that due to the complications arising from the want of magic power after our battles in Edolas, magic and all earthlings would be sent away, Lisanna was sent away as well.
So she returned to her original place, and of course, it was for the best.
Turns out, I was overly optimistic.

Six months have passed, and I have been ignored by almost everyone, except Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Mira, Gray and Lisanna herself. Even Juvia was spending a lot of time with them.
But Gray was really nice to me. He seemed a lot more attentive to me than usual, considering Natsu was always with Lisanna, and so was Levy. Apparently, Levy and Lisanna had been really close, and she had no time for me anymore. I had liked Natsu, and I was sad that he seemed to care about me no more. I guess Gray understood that, as he waved at me.
"Hey, Luce!" Gray called out. It was originally Natsu's nickname for me, but I think Gray deserved to use it more than him.
"Hi, Gray! Wendy, Gajeel, Mira, Lis, Carla!"
"Hey, Lucy san/Bunny girl/Lu/Lucy!"
Mira handed me the strawberry milkshake with a bright smile, and Gray and Lisanna sat on either side of me. Lis and I began to chat about out adventures together, when Natsu and Erza came over.
I was utterly delighted, thinking they finally cared about me, but Natsu looked at me coldly, and it made me shudder. Gray got into a protective stance, and Erza spoke up.
"Hey, Lucy... it's a bit hard to tell you this.... don't mind please...."
And Natsu interrupted her.
"Cut it short, Erza. Lucy, you're no longer in my team. We're replacing you with Lisanna. She's stronger, and not as annoying as you are."
Lisanna looked horrified. "You didn't tell me anything at all! I can't join your team.... Lucy is my dearest friend!"
"She's weak, Lis-chan," Levy smirked.
Gray looked furious. "Ice make- hammer!" And he hit Natsu. "Lucy isn't weak! She's courageous, and loyal."
And everyone got into a heated fight.
I went home, too sad to even eat, and I went straight to bed.
Next day, at the guild, after being hit with magic, I stopped a bit away from Natsu's table.
"C'mon, Lis, Lucy is weak..... so please forget her. I love you, Lis. Remember, you promised to marry me?"

Normal P.O.V
Lisanna was torn between her compulsion to defend her friend, and her joy to accept her lover. She finally chose old love over newfound friendship, and Natsu announced that they were an official couple.
Lucy stood there, dumbstruck. And ran back into her apartment.
Little did she know, a concerned ice mage had noticed her.
She stopped going to the guild unless she needed a job. She had been going on so many solo jobs that she had enough money to last her for years. She had become far stronger as well, had mastered stardress, Urano Metria, Grand Chariot, and many other strong spells. She could even fight extremely well with two swords, the twin blades of light and dark.
She decided to take a job that could be classified as S-class.
The job was :-

A dark guild has been terrorizing the port town of Hargeon, apparently with powerful gate keys that are being used to destroy the entire place.
Recommended wizard should possess at least two or more zodiac gate keys, and have prior experience in close combat. Location will be given once the wizard approaches the mayor.
WARNING - GUILD IS SMALL, BUT POWERFUL.

REWARD - 5,000,000 jewels

Lucy thought she would be fine with this job, after all she owned ten of the zodiac gates, knew stardress, and could open at least four gates while fighting alongside them. Yes, she had grown a lot stronger during the time she was neglected. She even carried a new and poisoned fleur-de-ètoiles, with thorns, a gift from Virgo.
She went to Mira with the request, who looked worried. "Can you do this by yourself, Lucy?"
"I can, Mira. I'm stronger than I was, after all. And I'm not alone, my spirit friends are by my side!" She had unwavering faith in her spirits, who in turn loved their master loyally.
Mirajane smiled and stamped her request, approving it.
