Fifteen year old Bea Willow was never a fan of herself. On many occasions, she sought to make herself feel worse. On a daily basis, she listened to the voice in her head, her parents arguments over small things, and her drunken brother.

Today was her last day.

Bea only had one friend, named Peter Parker. But even he kept secrets. They had known each other for years. Since they were born practically. Peter was older than Bea by six months.

She didn't know why, exactly, but Bea felt like Peter didn't need bothered with her dumb thoughts.

She entered the school, and immediately, Peter greeted her. She nodded his way.

"Let me guess, your brother?" Peter said, trying to comfort me.

"Yeah..." I say lying through my teeth. "He, um, got my leg." I say, that way Peter wouldn't want to see it.

"Well, hey, I could ask Mr Stark for a day off from the Internship to hang out with you?" he says.

"I, uh... Have to clean today... My brother made a mess last night and there's beer bottles smashed everywhere. And he's going away for the weekend." I say, lying yet again. Peter squinted his eyes at me. His brown orbs staring into mine.

"Want me to come help?" he asks, "Because May-"

"No, no Peter it's fine!" I say, giving him a fake smile.

"Bea."

"Peter." his eyes continuing to bore themselves into my head. "I promise, I'll be alright."

The day seemed to drag on forever. As soon as the bell rang, I was at my locker and out the door.

Tonight was the night.

I walked home, going in the door, and going to my room. Only three hours. I had to think of something. Suicide note? No that may get to Peter even more. I had three hours to kill.

You should have a reason for dying, don't you think?

I hit the side of my head in hopes to get the stupid voice to be quiet.

I lay on my bed and close my eyes. A nap. You're resting before you rest eternally?

To that I say, yes, tiny insignificant voice inside my head. Because I like to sleep.

I sleep for about five hours. Two more than needed. I walk out of my room quietly. Everyone is sleeping now that it's almost ten at night.

I got to the top of our apartment building. I look over the edge. The city streets were illuminated with harsh street lights. They're glow hard on the eyes. I get up on the ledge and stand up, ready to take my final step.

And I do.

I start falling. The wind on my face is harsh. I suddenly feel something on my back as I'm pulled up to the top of the building again.

"Don't jump." I hear, a soft touch on my shoulder. I turn around to see Spiderman.

He's a hero that's been around the past eight months or so.

"I-I wasn-"

"Don't lie to me, Bea. You can't keep lying t-" my eyes grow wide as a hand flings over his mouth.

"Peter?" I ask, "What the hell are you doing being a spider hero guy? May is gonna kill you!"

"Well I couldn't just sit around and wait for crime to stop. I had to do something!" he defends, "This isn't about me. What are you doing?"

He takes off his mask and reveals himself. His face was now tear tracked.

"Peter, I couldn't take it anymore. You were the one good thing out of a million bad things and when I weighed it, in my head, I convinced myself this was the option."

"But it's not! You had all the chances in the world to come talk to me! Why didn't you?"

"I didn't want to worry you or make you think everytime I went home I was hurting myself."

"Are you?" he asked, "If it's that hard you can't just-"

His phone began to ring. He palmed his forehead and let his hand run down before quickly taking his phone out and answering.

"Hello?... Mr Stark, I can't. Not right now... I'm in the middle of something really important... My friend... I can't take her home... Just, because, now I need to go... Okay I will... Bye."

"What was-"

He held up a hand. "You're coming with me."

He grabbed my waist and shot a web across the city streets. He looked at me with a small smile before tugging his mask back on and taking me away.

Thankfully, I wasn't scared of heights. I held onto Peter tightly as we swung in front of the Avengers building.

"Why are we here?"

"Because Mr Stark wants to see me, and hell no am I leaving you alone right now." he says. He grabbed my wrist and dragged me inside. "Heya, Happy." he saluted as we walked past a guy who was clearly unhappy with Peter's arrival.

We stepped in an elevator and Peter told a computer where to go. If I didn't feel like a complete asshat right now, I'd ask more about it. We walked into an office room, and Tony Stark looked at us.

"This is the friend, eh?" he questions. Peter nods. "Parker, you already know-"

"I can't leave her alone." Peter said, squeezing my hand slightly as his other hand balled into a fist. "I don't know what she'll do." he says.

"Fine. Bea, can I talk to you?"

"M-me?" I ask quietly, "I mean, sure..."

Peter lets my hand go and he stays in the room as we walk away. Me following Mr Stark of course.

"Peter thinks oddly high of you." he says when we're farther away, "Why is that?"

I shrug. "I don't know. We've been friends for a really long time."

"Listen, Parker spilled some tea on you with some of his other friends and since I obviously have a tracking device on him at all times," he leaned closer, "I heard every word of what he said."

"Is that bad or good?" I ask

"Both. It's good because I now understand a lot about you that you didn't know I understand."

"Mr Stark, you sound like a stalker. Cut to the chase. I'm tired of suspense." I say.

"Ugh, fine, you fun killer." Tony says, "I want to train you. You have this sort of spunk."

"Spunk?"

"Yeah. You're slightly assertive, and you think well. You've also seen hand to hand combat in the worst form possible." Tony says, "With training I could teach you to fight back."

"What for?" I ask

"That's secret." he says, "On a different note, would you like to live somewhere else?"

(Okay, I need to explain don't I. Well, I've seen a lot of fan fiction where it's like, oh this person is so wowza and Peter loves them and they love him back and it's awkward for a while. I'm cutting straight to the point. This is that. If you have any criticism go ahead. I hate my writing so.)

I'll be making a schedule for all my books I am CURRENTLY working on. Yay organisation!

(By the way, I bet you didn't know that Pepper's real name was Virginia? I'm a hardcore Iron Man and Spiderman fan, so I've read all the comics, watched all the movies, read every wiki fanpage and beyond. I am the superhero master.)
