When the sun comes up Adelram comes home.
"So." I start standing before the castle with my hands on my hips.
"So what?" He asks. He's soaked in Light blood. The sight fills me with irritation and pain. He didn't think to clean himself, before coming here with like that. He looks more like a monster now than he did when I met him.
"So I am not some hostage to stay here! I'm not the same little girl I was when we met, and I thought you knew that! I was locked in a tower before and when I left I never went back. Don't make me have to do it again."
He knits his eyes together. His skin darkens and the veins in his neck pop out. "Yes you did go back and you know you did, because you were in love with Gerold, remember?! Don't you ever again threaten to leave me and don't you ever again compare me to your vile parents! I am nothing like them! Now I've been out all night fighting for you and for our beautiful kids so they can grow up! Now do you wanna know the real reason you couldn't come, because the vampires would have torn you apart and then I'd have to kill them all and genocide is not what I should be focused on!"
"Oh." I says as the cool wind hits my back.
"I know what you need." He sighs. He picks me up and puts me over his shoulder.
"Let me go!"
"Nope." He tells me then smacks my ass, "I know what you need."
I roll my eyes he's not wrong. It was incredibly sexy watching him talk at me and something about knowing a man would commit genocide for you is strangely a turn on. He takes me to our room and throws me on the bed. He takes the kids back to their room and we make wild much needed love.
"Tell me when our time comes to an end." I tell him.
"No. There is nothing you can do, so let's enjoy the time together."
He knows I can't do that. I wish I could read his mind like he does mine.
We hear three sets of foot prints running down the hall. Behroz sets a light fire that burns the door down.
"Mommy! Daddy!" They call.
I pull the covers up over my chest.
Lunar and Eclipse wake up and start crying.
"Hush, your sisters are sleeping." Adelram tells them.
I pull Arold and Behroz on to the bed and Adelram, of course, takes Bel. All my kids have their father's body. Arold, Behroz and Bel are to my waist and they are only two. They are regular toddler size for Adelram. Sometimes I can't believe I pushed their big asses out of my body. They'll be beautiful giants.
"Mommy!" Arold calls.
"Yes baby?"
"Look."
He flaps his wings and flies a little.
"Oh wow! Good job buddy."
"Me too Mommy!" Behroz says flying in the air.
"Good job."
"I think I'm going to take the boys today. Show them our traditions." Adelram tells me.
"I'll take Bel." I tell him.
"Arold and Behroz, come on."
"No!" Arold yells running to me and clutching my arm.
"Don't say no to me." Adelram instincts turning his eyes bright red with rage.
I kiss his cheek and then kiss Arold. "Go with daddy."
"Daddy! Daddy!" Behroz calls.
Adelram gives him his attention and glimpses into his future and laughs.
