|BLUE'S POV|

After I finished getting ready my dad dropped me off at Uncle Ye's and then the driver took us to the party. It was a house party yet it wasn't a house it was damn near a mansion. There weren't any people in the front, but when you got to the back it was flooded with people. People near the pool, people near the hot tub, people on the deck, people coming in and out the kitchen. It was just people everywhere. I'm not antisocial or anything, but North said that this party would be lowkey and this is far from lowkey.

I stuck close to Nori as she was looking around for what, I don't know. I turned my head for one second and my arm was grabbed. I turned around to swing on whoever it was when a voice cut me off.

"Blue, chill, it's just me."

I looked up to see Egypt and I calmed down immediately. He let go of me and grabbed North who was looking to head off in another direction.

"What are you two doing here?" he asked looking at us with uncertainty.

North rolled her eyes and replied, "Both our dads know we're here. In fact my dads driver dropped us off. We're in the clear so calm your balls."

Egypt just glared at North before responding, "Smart ass. I don't care if your dads gave you permission. Clearly they didn't know the full details of what you two would be walking in to because if I snapped a picture right now and sent it to them that'd be both of your asses."

We both looked at each other and punched him in his arms; I hit him on the left and Nori on the right.

"Why the hell would you do that? I mean damn we don't get out as it is. The one night we come to a party, not that the location matters, you try to mess things up. Get out of here with that Egypt," I said with attitude.

I grabbed Nori's hand and attempted to walk off when we were pulled back by Egypt.

"Nah, you two don't want me to blow your spot, then you're staying with me for the night. I'm over there with my crew," he said and motioned in the direction of his friends who were coupled up and that's when I saw him.

There he was with a chick sitting on his lap. I wasn't sure whether to cry or get mad. Then again he's not my man right, but he's smiling in my face and making me feel something more. Damn, I'm dumb.

"You good?" Egypt asked as he looked in the direction of what I was staring at.

He sighed and added, "Look. Don't worry about him aight. I know that's my bro, but you're my sis and I don't want to see you hurt. Be careful baby girl."

He wrapped one arm around me and one around Nori and we headed towards his crew. Everyone said wassup and all the girls were nice even the one who happened to be on Cameron's lap. I try not to judge people even though I wanted to punch both him and her in the face.

Nori handed me a cup and I didn't bother to ask what was in it. I just tossed it back. Clearly it was liquor. I was having a good time. I wasn't drunk, just buzzed. I was dancing and then this guy asked me to dance. He had me off to the side and was feeling on me. I just started to dance back. Just as the guys hands moved any further he was pulled off and thrown to the ground. I looked up to see who did it and it was Egypt. Oh boy, this isn't gonna end well.

Egypt was about to punch the guy when Cam pulled him back telling him to chill. Me thinking maybe he wanted to punch the guy himself, but no.

"Just chill out. This situation isn't worth it. This is why they didn't need to be at this party. Her and North bout to cause a scene making you fight a dude for touching them," Cameron said.

I broke out of whatever buzzed state I had because that right there pissed me off.

"Excuse you. You got a lot of damn nerve saying we're causing a scene. I'm no baby and you sir are not as grown as you try to be. Don't try and play me Cameron. Fuck all this shit, I'm out," I said and began to walk off as Nori grabbed my arm.

I yanked it away from her and as I was walking away I heard Egypt yelling at Cam. "Why the hell you gonna talk to her like that? Man, what's wrong with you?"

My heart broke when I heard, "Man, whatever. She ain't my girl. I'm not about to chase her either."

He was right, we were nothing. At this point we weren't even friends.
