It finally happened!!! I've been spending a ton of time with Rocket working on getting her to trust me and let me run my hands up her neck and touch her head. And today I tried to put my weight on her back using my arms (thank goodness she's short) and she stood completely still so I tried putting my leg over her back and she just stood there! So I tried to ask her to go forward and she walked forward so calmly and turned off pressure from my hand on her neck. I'm going to win this stupid bet!
Flicka is doing amazing as well. Yesterday, I ran her through poles and she was amazing!! Boy is she fast! Not only that but Zach came up just as I was running back and he was speechless, HA! Serves him right for asking me on a date and then being an absolute idiot.
Thank the stars that Liam came I to town and gave me a ride back to the ranch. He was so sweet and concerned about my failure of a date it was so cute and sweet and then we got back to the ranch and he was walking me back to the main house before going to the cabin and he kissed me! I was so startled at first but he was a really good kisser and I realized I'd already fallen for him and it just felt right. So now we've been together for like a week now and it's amazing. It's been so nice to be with someone who understands me and accepts me for who I am and doesn't want something else from me. And now I'll win the bet. Maybe this move will end up right.
