Hello readers! This idea has been bouncing around in my head so I finally decided to write it. Bit of background on the main character. Elly is a 16 year old girl who had been working with her father in Missouri training horses. Her father left for Montana to set something up so that her family could have a better life. However Elly's mother and two younger siblings dies of cholera while he was away and he dies in a freak accident. Elly decides to go to Montana anyway as she has always faced stigma for being different (working with horses and wearing pants). The journal will start on her journey West. I will try to update as much as possible!
