Chapter 12: Let Him Rest

I tried calling Jungkook the whole night and he is still not reachable.

I started to worry so I called Bang pd.

"Hello is Jungkook alright?" I asked Bang Pd

"Yeah. He is just busy" Bang pd assured that there is nothing to worry about.

"Okay thank you" I hung up.

What is Jungkook doing? He must be so busy that he can't answer my calls.

I just slept.

I am awakened by a call.

"Hello?" I spoke with my sleepy voice.

"Hey Y/n sorry I couldn't answer your calls." It is Kookie.

"Where are you?" I asked

"Here in our practice room. You can come here." He said

I hurriedly did my morning routine and went to BigHit building and went inside BTS' practice room.

Jungkook saw me and he hugged tight.

We sat on the practice room's floor and talked.

"Why are you so busy?" I asked him.

"Bang Pd made me and Nayeon go to fake dates and I could answer your calls. I am sorry" he kissed my cheek.

"It's okay, I understand your situation right now. I also went to fake dates with V" I comforted him

"How was your date?" I asked

He layed on the floor.

"It's not fun and Nayeon is clinging onto me like we are a real couple." He complained

"It's supposed to be like you're a real couple. She's just doing a great job acting" I laughed.

I layed on the floor too.

"Even though there are no reporters and photograpghers, she stills clings to me. It's starting to get annoying" he put his arm around my waist

"Just bear it a little more" I faced him and kissed his forehead.

I am sad that we need to go through all of this. The practice room is the only place where we can see each other, we can't go to dates anymore.

We were laying there for a while and then I heard a knock in the door. I knew that it was not any BTS member because why would a BTS member knock on their own practice room .

Maybe it's Bang Pd.

I opened the door. It's Nayeon!

"Oh hi what are you doing here?" She asked me with curiousity lingering on her eyes.

"I'm waiting for V haha" I answered awkwardly.

"Is Kookie oppa here?" She called Jungkook 'KOOKIE'?!

I'M THE ONLY ONE ALLOWED TO CALL HIM THAT!!

"He's here" I pointed Jungkook who is still laying on the floor.

Nayeon entered the room and went to Jungkook.

"Oppa! We need to go to a date now." she said

I went to Jungkook too.

"But we don't have a date scheduled today'' Jungkook is still laying om the floor with his eyes closed

"I know but I want to spend time with you" she started to pull Jungkook's hand

Jungkook looked so tired.

He stood up and agreed to go.

"Let him rest, he looks tired" I told Nayeon

I was so worried with Jungkook, he finally has the time to rest and Nayeon bothered him

"It's okay thank you for your concern" Jungkook smiled at me.

"Be safe" I smiled at Jungkook

They got out of the room. I stayed there and a few minutes later V arrived.

"Oh Y/n I saw Jungkook earlier with Nayeon have you seen him already?" V asked

"Yeah. I just wish that Nayeon won't wear him out to much, he is so tired" I sat on the floor and V sat next to me.

"I don't like Nayeon dragging Jungkook around. I feel like I am empty when Kookie looks so sad." I sighed

"Don't worry. I will be here, when Jungkook is not around." He patted my back

He told me jokes that made me laugh and we talked a lot.

I'm just glad that I have a shoulder to lean on when Jungkook is not around . I am starting to feel like I am not alone anymore. V is here to comfort me when things get a little bad.
