Again and Again

Amy Rose was tired of running.

She kept running in the rain, her dress was completely wet and she was afraid that the rain might killed her instead of her uncle. She prayed to Chaos that something or someone shall be on her way. Her prayers were heard as she found a small wooden cabin on the forest she was currently walking in. She entered as she found a blanket, a bit dirty but it will work for her. She took off her wet dressed and unfolded her pink dress so it could dry. She covered her naked body with the blanket and tried to get some sleep as she knew that tomorrow would be a long day. Without knowing, someone else smiled watching her from afar, knowing that he will get his reward.

"Let's get going"

    Amy was fast to wake up as she heard his voice. She looked up and saw a black hedgehog with red stripes looking down at her. She knew this hedgehog, it was Shadow. They never really talked before. Just in the ARK many years ago.

"Shadow...what are you-"Amy began but she was cut off by his male 'friend'.

"I am turning you in,"Shadow added waiting for her to make another question.

"But- Shadow-we..we are friends...aren't we?"

"No, we never were, now get dressed, I can take you naked as well, I really don't care,"Shadow turned around showing his back to her.

"I can't change when we are in the same room,"Amy protested.

"If we do it my way, you can make sure that I won't peak on you. If we do it your way, then  you may think I'll be outside trying to get a peak, you decide,"

    Shadow was right, and Amy knew that his logic couldn't be tamed. She stood up and picked up her dressed from the floor and slowly began to dress up again, her dress still wet.

"What happened to you?,"Shadow asked her. He wasn't the one to ask questions. However, this was a special case. After Eggman was defeated and the 'Resistance' broke apart, soon after everyone was going after Amy Rose. Amy Rose became a hot-topic, and everyone was asking for a great amount of money in exchange for her. Especially her uncle.

"Nothing that you need to know...more like...why are you doing this?,"Amy asked him. She already had enough, she was at her breaking point. Everyone was turning their backs on her but it wasn't for less. After all, her family was powerful enough to do whatever they want and now Shadow, someone who she thought he was 'loyal' was also betraying her.

"I need the money,"Shadow simply said.

"I thought you didn't work for anyone...what happened to G.U.N?,"Amy said still angry.

"I don't, and you know better than anyone that after the war, G.U.N hasn't been the same," Shadow turned around as he expected Amy to be dressed up and she gave him a disapproving look.

"If you had said something before...about your family, then may be your friend would have helped you"

    Amy then snapped, Shadow didn't understand anything. Ultimate Life Form? Ha!

"Yeah! Just tell everyone that your family sided with Eggman during the war! That now, after many years, the only thing they want from me is to marry Silver so they can get richer by owning more villages...I am sorry...I am sorry I couldn't tell anyone," Amy finished and she was, of course, being sarcastic.

"What is so wrong with marrying Silver? Doesn't he treat you right? Wasn't he helping the Resistance as well?"

"He is nice and yes he treats me right but I can't marry him... I made a promise to a dear friend...and I plan to keep it"
