jennie waited for lisa to finish getting things from her locker and when she was about to close it, jennie went for it instead, startling lisa.

"hey, ms. president." jennie flashed lisa a fake smile, raising her eyebrows and hoped she was annoying the other girl.

"j-jennie,"

"oh so you know my name. cute. you might as well know my reputation too, right?"

she didn't let lisa answer, placing her hand at the small of her back and lead her towards the restroom. a few people gave them confused looks into which jennie dismissed by flashing them a smile that seems to be giving the message that they're friends.

even if they're not.

once the two reached their destination, jennie made sure that there were no other people in there and locked the door, then placed her attention on the dumbfounded lisa.

"so, what's up with you and seyoon? are you two dating?"

so this is about seyoon again. lisa thought and inhaled deeply before answering.

"look, jennie. we're not a thing. seyoon is my bestfriend. you might as well just let us live."

"really? you really think i'd believe you? got any proof to support that lie, sweetheart?"

lisa dismissed the butterflies on her stomach after hearing what jennie just called her and rolled her eyes- something she never thought she would do infront of jennie herself. she sighed deeply and looked at the other girl again.

"h-he likes someone else."

lisa's statement caused the look on jennie's eyes to soften, as if she was hurt. this made lisa look away, feeling the same as jennie.

"and who is it? who does he like?"

"i'm sorry, jennie but i can't tell you. knowing that you'd probably do the same things you do to me to them. this won't earn you anything. goodbye, i have classes to attend to."

as if on cue, the bell rung. and with that, lisa exited the restroom, leaving a speechless jennie inside.
