A small smile crept onto my face as I felt warm fingers tracing patterns on my skin. I opened my eyes slightly tilting my head up to meet the eyes of the culprit. He sent me a grin pulling me closer to him so my head rested on his chest and tangling our legs together. I wrapped my arms around his waist putting my ear to his chest hearing the soft beating of his heart.
Sweetpea placed a small kiss on my forehead. "Hi." He murmured his breath hitting my ear. I took a deep breath as I felt his hand trail down the side of my body until they rested on my hips. Noticing my reaction, Sweetpea chuckled.
"Hey," I replied lowly in a breathy tone. His grip on waist tightening before he leaned down connecting our lips once again. Pulling away, I hid my face in the crook of his neck trying to hide the blush that was currently forming on my face. "I'm hungry." I said feeling my stomach grumbling inside of me.
Sweetpea laughed. "When aren't you hungry." He said amused. Lifting my body up, I put my hands on both sides of the tall male beside me, I narrowed my eyes playfully him. He flicked my nose causing my whole face to scrunch up in annoyance. "Come on let's go make you something to eat." He slipped out from under me walking towards the kitchen.
I collapsed on the couch looking at the ceiling smiling to myself. I stood up walking the same way Sweetpea just did. Sitting up on the counter, I let my eyes roam the small space. Sweetpea was looking around the cupboards and fridge for any sight of food, but there wasn't any. He walked towards me with a sly face and scratched the back on his neck.
I chuckled. "You don't have any food. Do you?" I said wrapping my arms around Sweetpea's neck as soon as he was in arms length. He shook his head making me laugh again. He place his hands on my hips gripping my waist. "We can just go to Pops or the Whyte Wyrm." I suggested.
Sweetpea shook his head and groaned. "But I wanted to make you something." He pouted making his bottom lip blossom out. My fingers skimmed across them. A mischievous smirk made its way onto his face as he playfully nipped at them.
"Well maybe next time you should stock up on food." I teased.
Sweetpea shook his head smiling. "So there will be a next time." He said hope flashing in his eyes.
My hands cupped his face bringing him closer. "There will definately be a next time." My lips skimmed his. He brought one of his hands up to my neck separating us a little.
"Good because I don't think I will handle losing you a second time." He said before crashing his lips down onto mine. I smiled into the kiss as I heard his words.
I pulled away as soon as I heard my phone ring. I laid my head on Sweetpea's shoulder looking in the direction of my phone. SIghing, I placed a small kiss in his neck before jumping down from the counter and back into the living room.
"Hello?" I asked once I answered.
"Hey Isa, it's Toni. I need your help with something. I'm heading over to your house in a bit." Toni said.
I bit my lip looking at Sweetpea who was leaning against a wall looking intently on me. "Um I'm not at home Toni."
"Oh okay. Can you meet me at the Pennbrook then?"
"Why?" I asked knitting my eyebrows together in confusion.
"Just meet me there." She said before hanging up the phone. I let out a quiet confused okay before turning on my heels towards Sweetpea.
"You have to go?" Sweetpea guessed. I nodded my head slipping in my shoes that I took off a while ago. A frown etched on his face as I looked up.
"I'll be back after." I told him, but the look on his face told me he wasn't convinced. I walked up to him cupping his head with my hand I stared at him dead in the eye. "I promise I'll be back." He muttered a quiet okay. I placed a quick kiss on his cheek before rushing out the door to my motorcycle on over to the Northside.
