Kaname and Zero were hanging out in Kaname's temporary dorm room he had before he was transferred to the night class . Zero didn't like the idea but now that Kaname was a vampire he couldn't go against Headmasters decision. They were just enjoying there last day on the same time schedule before Kaname's transfer but there was one thing that was still on there minds. They did enjoy what they did two nights before but they didn't tell each other everything but at least the confessed they liked each other.
" Kaname how do you feel?"
" oh Zero I'm fine it's just not something I'm use to yet but I think I will eventually after what Yuki told me it's my obligation to vampires"
" Its not easy ... when I was turned I fought the thirst and you helped me when the pills stop working on occasion but you being the new vampire king does that change anything between us. I am a hunter after all and I don't want to hurt you"
" Zero your my best friend ..just because I'm a pure blood vampire it shouldn't change how we feel about each other. I know your afraid of hurting me but I'm also afraid of hurting you . There's one thing I do know for sure"
" Oh really Kaname? What's that?"
" Zero...I didn't lie when I said I like you and I know I want us to be more but I'm not going rush you"
" Kaname.. I know and I like you too ..I have for awhile now but I was afraid to admit it. I do hope for us too and I know things are going change since you will have to act as a pure blood vampire noble but know this I'm always here for you"
Kaname couldn't stand Zero honesty so he pulled Zero to him and kissed his soft lips. They held each other close while watching the sunset and just pressed foreheads together feeling the heat from each other. Tomorrow was going to be different and there relationship would be restrained but at least they knew how they really felt about each other other deep in there hearts.
