Zero snuck into Kaname's room at the moon dorm again so they could exchange blood like they did on a weekly basis but in the back of there minds a lot of questions about there relationship arose. Kaname held his hand out to Zero so he could feed him his blood and they just sat there in silent for awhile. After Zero finished feeding he tried to do the same for Kaname but He stopped him and spoke:
" Zero, you seem troubled about something what is it?"
" Kaname I love you but sometimes I don't like having to keep our relationship a secret from everyone besides Yuki "
" You're talking about the vampire council and the Hunter society right?"
" Yeah.. your the soon to be Vampire King and they would have to obey you but where do I fit in I'm a hunter "
" Zero I know have put a lot of pressure on you just being with me but I hope to change things in the future . Your a hunter but that's not what defines you to me it's your heart your special to me and I don't want to lose you because of silly stereo types of our forbidden love"
" Kaname I don't know if I can wait that long I love you and I will always care about you but this all of it I don't know if I can any longer"
" Zero what are you saying?"
" I'm sorry Kaname but I think we need some time apart for awhile"
" What...are you breaking up with me because having time apart guarantees that "
" Kaname This is good bye for awhile"
Zero jumped out the window to the ground below and Kaname was looking at after him a single tear fell down his face. Kaname closed the curtains before he collapsed on to his knees threading his fingers through his hair before he said:
" Zero please don't leave me like this"
Yuki was in her dorm room which was closest and about four doors away from Kaname room. She felt Her brothers emotions of sadness and knocked on the door then when he didn't answer she unlocked it to see a dazed Kaname staring at the wall. Yuki pulled Kaname to her in a sisterly hug and he hugged her back remembering her warmth when they were kids . They fell asleep holding each other and Zero Actually cried in his dorm alone thinking about what he said even though he didn't mean it, it hurt his heart.
