Kayli, Raven and Dr. Roberts walked up to Kevin and me. We were making our way back to the bleachers.

"How's that broken beak of yours Kevin?" Dr. Roberts looked at his nose.

"I've had worse."

"Better a broken nose than a broken heart my boy."

"I agree."

"Come walk back with mem and we'll give you some pain meds and set you right."

"Okay." He paused and looked at me. "Nice talking to you Sang."

"You too." I smiled.

He and Dr. Roberts strolled off together.

Raven started flexing his muscles, his tattoos rippling in the process.

Kayli rolled her eyes. "What are you doing?"

"Just warming up for the next competition, Little Thief."

"I don't think that will help you any." I jumped. I hadn't realized North was standing directly behind me.

Raven smirked. "I don't need help, East."

I could hear North's teeth grinding at the name change.

"I'm quite capable at... nailing." Then he strutted off like a peacock.

Kayli looked up at North. "Please beat his ass."

North narrowed his eyes at Raven's retreating form. "I plan to."

- North -

Russian asshat.

I couldn't lose to him of all people. He was always f****** around with my name thinking he was funny and s***. I clenched the fist not holding Baby's hand as we walked to the gathering crowd on the field.

He always flirted and teased Sang too when he saw her. I knew he didn't have any intention of pursuing her, there was something going on between him and Kayli, but it irritated me, and he knew it. I wanted to punch him in the face and tell him to f*** off. Claim her as mine. Ours.

Six months. Six months since the day I first saw her and my world changed. I didn't deserve her, or the love my life hinged on her declaring for us, for me. But if she offered it, you bet your ass I was taking it.

I wouldn't be made a fool in front of her and lose. She deserved champions, those who would win. Gabe and Nathan did it.

Now it was me.

- Sang -

North left me between Victor and Luke, and continued walking to his spot in the next event. My boys, and Kayli and hers, all stood grouped together on the field. Mr. Blackbourne, Sean and Dr. Roberts joined us.

"You having fun, Sang?" Kota asked, moving behind me. He put his chin on top of my head then started rubbing up and down my arms.

My body started to feel tingly and loose under his touch. I leaned my back into his chest. "Mmmhmm."

He chuckled. "I'd better stop so you can pay attention to North." I was immediately sorry to lose his caress, but didn't want to miss a moment of North's competition either.

"This should be interesting." Luke looked around at the set up. "Raven's doing this one, too."

"They don't like each other do they?" I turned to Luke.

"Raven likes to get under his skin and try to make North lose it." He grinned. "North does an equal amount of harassing. They're like kids in elementary school who pick on the boy or girl they actually like."
