Silas and I walked across the field to join the others. A large picnic lunch had been prepared for everyone to enjoy midway through the competitions. There was an area with tables covered in large quantities of food, and picnic tables nearby surrounded by a beautiful grove of trees. People were milling around talking, laughing, filling their plates.

I glanced up at Silas as we made our way over and he looked down at me. I could feel myself blush.

"Aggele, are you sorry about what happened?" His brow furrowed in concern.

"Not at all Silas." I looked him in the eyes, wanting him to see the truth in my statement. "That was one of the best moments of my life and I'm happy to have shared it with you."

He raised a thick eyebrow in mock surprise. "Just one of the best?" He stopped walking and so I did. "Tell me Aggele, what were the others?"

"The moments each of you entered into my life."

His face split into a large smile as my own did.

"We will make many more best moments together," he replied, taking my hand, leading the way to the picnic area.

I looked down at the ground as we walked. Anxiety started to bubble up within.

How could it be possible? I loved Silas and would absolutely never regret having my first kiss with him. But what about the others? How would they feel if they knew? I loved them all, too. Wanted to kiss them all, too. What was wrong with me? This wasn't normal. I was not normal. Who loved nine guys at the same time? Was I leading Silas into hoping for things that could not be by kissing him?

I swallowed back the doubts and fears that were rising. There was only one thing I could do. I would have to tell them. Ask them to forgive my feelings. Beg them to stay my friends, explain I could never choose. I couldn't imagine my life without any of them.

Kayli told me I had to follow my heart. Well, my stupid heart was split into nine equal pieces.

I looked up at my beautiful boys all talking together. Nathan chopped Luke on the head for something he said, and they were all laughing.

I held my head up and put a smile on my face. I was resolved. I would tell them very soon. Today, though, I would enjoy to the full. Show the boys what I was made of. How far I'd come. Maybe then, they could love me, too.

But then what Sang?

I looked down at the massive pile of meat and salad North put in front of me. "I can't eat all this."

"Eat what you can and make sure to eat healthy food first." I rolled my eyes and smiled.

Luke leaned over and put a brownie on my plate.

"Hey!" North grabbed the brownie and took it away. He glared at Luke then turned his attention to his own plate and started eating.

Luke quietly slipped another brownie by my plate. I giggled and covered it with a napkin. North shot a look at us then continued eating.

I looked at Luke. He crossed his eyes and stuck his tongue out to the side. I giggled more as he took a bite of his own brownie.

In truth, I didn't want to eat too much. Kayli and I had a big competition ahead of us. I didn't want to risk throwing up at the end. How embarrassing would that be?

I took a few bites of my salad and realized I didn't have a drink. "I'll be right back," I announced, standing up. They all looked up at me. "I'm getting a drink."
