Oh how was I right, it was worth it. Nothing could of been better than today. The wind blew slightly and leaves fell to the ground. Blake stood next to me while holding my hand. Every since last night, he wouldn't let go of me. I mean, I didn't mind, but it felt weird. But it was a good kind of weird...maybe it was happiness. I can't really remember what it feels like, I can't even remember the last time I felt it.
"So what do you want to do today? It's totally up to you." Blake squeezed my hand tighter, letting me know it was still holding onto mine.
"Maybe we could...get ice cream?" I'm an idiot. I can't believe I just said that, what was I thinking?
He smiled. "My treat!" I just laughed, I laughed a lot today, all because of him. Even if it wasn't funny, it didn't matter, I was having fun.
After we got our ice cream, we sat down on a bench outside. I was enjoying my ice cream so much that I almost didn't know he was talking to me.
"Sophia, why do you have ice cream on your face?"
"What are you talking about?" I asked as I turned my head to face him, he smeared freezing cold ice cream onto my cheek.
"Oh, it's on!" I couldn't contain my laughter. He started to run and I chased him. I think I surprised him because I was faster then he thought. I finally caught up to him and tackled him.
"Wow you're fast." He was breathing heavily, still tired from running. "Ready for me to take you home beautiful?" I nodded, starting to stand up.
When we got to my house, he led me upstairs to my room.
"Thank you for the spending the day with me, I had fun! If you don't mind, I'm going to bed." I climbed in and as soon as I hit the pillow I passed out. But one thing I didn't miss was when Blake bended down gave me a kiss on the cheek and said, "I love you babe, you don't know it yet but one day you'll be my girl. I'll do whatever it takes, cause you're worth it."
