Waiting for something to happen when you want it to seems like forever. I've literally been counting down the minutes left till Blake gets here. I've changed my outfit a thousand times and make sure I smell like a garden. The house was spotless, I must have spent hours cleaning. I walk to the door to see if he has pulled into the driveway yet, a rush of happiness fills me as I see him blue truck there. He casually walks to the door with a huge grin across his face.
"Hey Sophie, you look beautiful tonight. Ready to study?" How could one person make me so weak? Just looking into those gorgeous blue eyes made me faint enough. I start advancing toward the couch and he follows me like a puppy. We both sit down at different ends, opening our books and starting to "study".
Hours later, we were both exhausted and ready for some sleep. Somehow we sat next to each other, our bodies almost touching. He stared into my eyes as if he was searching for something inside of me. Something inside me forces me to lay my head down on his shoulder and fall asleep right next to him. But for the first time in a long time, I felt safe again.
