Y/n POV:

The rough wind is hitting my face harshly as I walk down the empty streets questioning myself what's wrong. All the cars had big damages on their door and the windows are all broken. I am supposed to go to Shanghai for meeting a friend who is currently living there. But...what happened in here. No one was on the street so that gave me a cold shiver down my spine.

It is much colder than it should in a normal day of summer but i took on my hoodie and headed to my friend's house, her name was Mina. I am now standing at the front door, wondering if she's home. It was 2 Pm and it was exactly the time we had to meet. I knocked at the door multiple times but no answer, so i thought i should just enter in Mina's house to see if she is sleeping or something. The door cracked open and I heard soft muffles coming form upstairs. I turned around to see some familiar faces, they are looking like Mina and her parents but their skin is much paler and their walking so slow. They were looking like those things from the movies, like zombie? I thought it will be a great moment to run and save my damn life from those creatures.

So here I am, in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, trying to stay alive as much as I can. But I can't. How am i supposed to stay here and that's not all, I mean how should I save my life huh? I am standing at the entrance of a supermarket, because this could be a place for hiding. My eyes scanned the building and i slowly took steps on the cold floor. The water partition is close I think I might just hide there. I took a water bottle and opened to drink it but before I could do so I heard some smooth grumbles behind me and as I turned, I saw a zombie approaching me. The creature had teeth marks on the neck, significating probably the cause of the undead person.

I don't have any type of gun so this probably my death because I froze from my fear. Right before the zombie had 2 more steps to reach to me,  I heard a soft click and creature fell onto the ground with a thud. I quickly glanced in the direction of the sound to see a boy, around my age who was wearing a pair of black ripped jeans and a white T-shirt with a kind of a bird on it.

"You ok?" The boy asked reaching to me. "Yeah" I told him still couldn't moving. Some soft steps took my attention and before I knew it the boy took my wrist and draged me away from the monsters. We were running so fast, and soon we walked in a cabin from the woods.

"W-who are ...you?" I asked panting, trying to catch my breath. "I'm Zihao ' the boy said and I presented me as well. We started to know each other and talk about how we ended here, in this hell. "I was practicing with my friends for a perform and suddenly the zombie infection spread because of some wrong experiments in the south of Shanghai. Specialists said that we are all going to die but I think is better to try fighting than just wait to be bitten by those monsters." He told me, so concerned.

Time passed...

I was so tired from running that I fell asleep on the couch from the living room. My eyelids heavily opened as I heard the cracking floor. I jumped up and looked around the small area for someone. Who walked here. "Did I wake you up?" Zihao asked apologetically. "No, it's ok...but can you hear? There are some leaves cracking?" I concentrated on the sounds from outside. He just looked at me with a disappointed expression. "They found us!!!" was all he could mumble.
