Hanyu ~ The last wolf

This is the special story requested by my friend, Marie, and because Bea requested a story with Hanyu, I placed this as a double request.

Y/N's POV:


I was walking around the gates of the town. And the gates were built because the inhabitants of the town had to enter somehow in their houses. The place where I live was encircled by some big walls. These barriers  were built hundreds of years before I came to life. My grandma said it's because of the wolves. Many people died protecting us from the merciless creatures... But this happened so much time ago, that I've even forgot about it. But this was just an old story so maybe it wasn't true.


I looked at the clock. 17 PM. It was great for a walk and since I'm 14 I can go out of the walls without permission from anyone. I looked around the forest. I wondered without knowing that I am going further and further in the woods. Once I looked around I noticed the sky is already getting darker. I glanced at the inscriptions of the trees that were guiding the people back to the city but all disappeared. I took a glance at the clouds and between them I saw the figure of a full moon. The harsh wind was hitting my face harshly, as I walked around, building a weird feeling. I was so scared by the myth about the werewolves. 

I heard a soft noise coming from a bush behind me. I turned around and noticed a pair of eyes looking directly at me. That orange color. 'Run' I said to myself as I sprinted thought the woods. I couldn't see anything except the tall trees. I knew that something that i saw was coming after me but I didn't have any options. "Ah!" I screamed as i collapsed on the leaves hitting my leg. My vision started to blurry when I saw the creature somehow transforming in a boy. Then all went black.


I opened my eyes to face the ceiling of a small room. I was on a bed covered with blankets. I glanced around the room and i saw a boy standing in the door step. I was about to scream but something in his eyes made me calm. I don't know what was that something. He took a step closer "Hello, are you alright?" he asked. " yeah, thanks for asking me" I responded. I looked at the window. There were trees everywhere. "Where am I... and what happened?" I said. And his response made me scared. "I saw you collapsed on some leaves. You looked like you hit something and fell. So I took you here. It's a cabin in the middle of the forest" So it wasn't a dream. But what was that creature. 

"What's your name? I'm Hanyu" he asked after some time. "I'm Y/N" I responded looking at his features. Those brown eyes were so kind. But after I noticed something on his left wrist. Like a bracelet or something. It had a wolf on it. "What is that?" I said pointing at it. "My mom gave it to me before she died" He said. I noticed sorrow on his face when I said that. "I'm sorry for your loss". "It's ok, don't worry. Do you want to eat?" I saw a smile on his face. I nodded tanking him. " Hanyu, before I passed out yesterday, I saw a creature like a kind of a wolf. But after I fell it transformed into something  like a human?". I knew he is maybe hiding something, and the wolf bracelet? 


"I think you already know the old myth.... And I know you are scared and you are curious but I am... well I am the last wolf that survived. And I don't kill people. None of us did so, but people were haunting us so we didn't have any choice. After you get back in the town, don't ever come here again, I am dangerous" he said. A-am I scared of him? "N-no, I'm you're not, you saved my life. How can you be dangerous?". I asked but he couldn't say anything. I heard some people talking outside. I looked at the window and saw my uncle  with 3 other men. "Look all around the forest, we need to find her" they said. 


"Hanyu, what happens is they find out you're a wolf? they will kill you" I whispered. "We need to get out of here, the back door" He responded leading the way to the door. Once we were out, he took my hand and we ran as fast as we could. I heard dogs yelling behind us but we couldn't stop. It was already night. I was trying my best to keep my speed like him. I felt my hand soft so I looked behind. I saw the boy standing on his knees. "Run, I'm dangerous" I heard him say before his body started to be covered in a brown soft fur. He was now an wolf.


"H-hanyu?" I said scared. But in my heart I knew he won't do anything. He won't hurt me. Just me. I froze there until a hand grabbed my wrist. I turned around. My uncle was pointing a shotgun directly at the wolf. "NO, DON'T HURT HIM, HE'S NOT DANGEROUS" I screamed. "What do you know about wolves?" my uncle said "He's a human, don't kill him" I said. The wolf was staring at me. I saw he was worried. But I couldn't do anything. 


I tried escaping from the grip but I couldn't since two men were holding my arms. I heard a loud bang. "NOOOO" I screamed. A lot of tears rolled down my cheeks as i ran to Hanyu. The fur went away. He was again human. But the bullet was there, in his chest. Blood was covering his T-shirt. I sat down where he was. "please d-don't di-die.... D-don't leave m-e" I said sobbing. "thank you for not running away from me" he paused. "I l-love you" he said, a tear rolling down his cheek. I looked at him. His eyes were closed. 


"wake up, d-don't leave..."
