I walked to the window and looked at the hoard of death people coming right to us. My heart was beating so fast and I quickly glanced at Zihao just to see him whisper "run". Be both exited from the back door and started running as fast as we could, hoping the zombies haven't seen us. My knees started to get weaker and weaker as the seconds passed, only to land in a small City were we could find some supplies. We reached at a little market where we took some food cans and other stuff like water, flashlights and blankets. Who knew where we are going? Well... No one.

We locked ourselves in a room to eat peacefully and continue finding some safe places to stay at the night. A abandoned hotel was all I wanted right?"Take this, if anything happens to me" the boy said. Zihao opened the door with his gun aiming at anything that was moving. It was like in those movies... But it seems still different from them. We cautiously went to the first room we saw and made us comfortable for the night here. He slept onto on of the beds and I to another.

In the morning:

I sleepily opened my eyes trying to remember what happened yesterday. Right, a zombie came from nowhere, and I got to meet that boy. Zihao!!! I looked around the room. It was empty. Where is Zihao? I got up and took my backpack, and ran out of the room. I was holding so hard onto the gun I received yesterday, not willing to loose it. Outside the hotel, I didn't see anything so I had to continue walking. 'Where could he be???' I asked myself and suddenly the food shop crossed my mind. I walked as fast as I could to reach there. 

I didn't see anyone so maybe he's not here. But still I can take some supplies. I hurriedly placed some food and water in my backpack and exited from the back door. I looked around to be sure the way if safe. But I saw a figure some meters away from the door. I got closer and closer. "Hey... are you alright???" I asked almost whispering. The person lifted it's head and my jaw dropped. "k-kill m-...me...". It was Zihao. I went next to him. His almost lifeless body was leaning on a wall. And next to him was another body, a little girl who was in a pool of dried blood. I noticed that the boy had now a paler color on his skin but it was probably just because of the weather. I supported him by placing a hand onto his back and then I lifted his arm over my shoulders. I walked with him to the store and got in the same room from yesterday. 

I locked the door and placed some blankets on the floor. I helped him lean over them like an improvised bed or something. I looked at his features, but a blood stain made me glance at his neck. Blood was dripping down his chest. I opened the zipper from my bag and searched for bandages as fast as I could. His face color was almost white like the snow. I took a piece of clean cloth and a water bottle to wipe the pouring blood away. Even if the boy is still conscious, I can't be fine. He can die any moment. Regaining some power, he grabbed my wrist and whispered "S... shoot m-me!!!". I locked my eyes with his as tears went down my cheeks. "please" he said louder now. I shook my head in disagreement. "I can't kill you... you saved my  life" I said sobbing. 

"You n-need to" he said taking the gun from my pocket and pointing it at his head, I tried talking it but he was stronger than me "I'll turn into a zombie, I don't want to hurt you ... because... I l-love... you" were the things he said before pulling the trigger. "NO" I screamed falling on my knees. "I lo-love you too" I said watching his collapsed body. He is dead. Because of me.
