First of all I would like to clear that this is a mature content novel. So, readers below 15, please restrain yourself. I'm speaking for your own good.
Now to begin with, this novel is just epic.
I mean it's not everyday that you find a mind blowing author whose books have a correct balance of both passion and storyline.
Of all the mature theme books I've read, I always find that somehow the storyline gets compromised and the only way keep the readers is through enough mature content.
But this book right from the starting will prove this conception wrong.
It'll prove you that passion is just a spice and not a base for any novel to succeed.
This book has such a good storyline that it had me gripped right till the end. I really felt bad when it got over. I didn't had my fill of it until the very end. )
Out of all the good things that I could mention about this book, my personal favourite is how the characters transit.
Specifically how Rya transits. She's a kickass girl with no-shit taking attitude. She doesn't let anyone come near her. Doesn't trust aanyone apart from Bob.
But as Vince slips into her apartment and into her, both literally and figuratively, things start to change.
The author very delicately deals with her issues and presents it so gracefully that it almost made me cry.
You'll find her at every stage from rage to love to sexually frustrated to some more which I won't reveal.
And how can I forget their chase. Their cat and mouse chase is what differentiates this book from others. The characters are so stubborn that they just won't give up. Both have their own reasons to fight for what they're fighting for, but it's us who get the pleasure of reading them do it.
And of course if you are a fan of Mr and Mrs Smith then this is just the book for you. For I loved the movie and I love the book too.❤
All in all it's a must read.
Favourite character: Apart from Rya and Vince it was caleb whom I just loved. How can someone just not love him? He's too good for that shit.
