When I read the first few chapters of this book I actually then kept it aside and cursed myself for 2 minutes straight. Any sane person would now has a question as to why will I do that when I had given this book full rating. But that's exactly the reason. I had this book all this time in my library I never looked at it and denied myself of such a beautiful piece of art. The language of this book is so precise and polished that any literature lover like me would get glued to it from the first chapter itself.

Because this isn't a book where you just read it have fun and then forget about it. This is a kind of book that'll mess up with your brain. It will be all that you'll be thinking for the next few days. And the main reason for that is it touches the most sensitive part of our life. And that's LOVE.

I know many will be thinking that which novel doesn't. Today 7 out of 10 novels have love as their basic criterion.
But trust me this it's different.

The premise of the book is what people think that knowing who their soulmate is will save them from all the heartbreak that they had to go through in the process of finding the one. And some don't even manage to have one even after that.
This novel right here raises that point and shows us that it isn't exactly rainbows and unicorns on the other side of this revelation. It's even more confusing there.

The more you read the more you'll be able to connect to it. There's no clichè here. No badboy and good girl stuff. No compulsion. It's pure coincidental.

The people you'll read about will be as real as you and me. It'll be like you're reading about one of your friend's story. No fancy stuff, well apart from the beginning.

The protagonist will make mistakes, will tumble, will fall, will cry, will laugh but at the end she'll learn. She'll learn from her mistakes, will cherish those whom she loves, will fight for them, will hang on for them, but will also leave when the situation demands no matter how much her heart breaks in the process.
Isn't this what we do?

This book will make you love your best friend even more because you'll find so many instances where you'll connect to it.

There's this one thing which I generally don't find in other novels and it was the relation of the protagonist with her parents. It was in one word 'perfect'. They had many appearances all throughout the novel which shows us how important is the role of one's parents in their life. It really helps them mould their personality.

There are many more things which I can highlight, things which really made me coo but also kept me at my toes so much that I completed it within a day but that won't do justice to you, cause you my friends deserve to have this beautiful journey on your own.

But at the end of the day one big lesson that it teaches which I can't stop myself from sharing is that magic is real and you'll feel it once you'll be in love with the right person at the right time. And even if you know who your soulmate is, it won't save you from your impending heartbreaks 'cause after all we're no werewolves and we don't have mates formula going on as much as we want it to be😂. This book is one of those where you have an ending which leaves you wanting more at it's wake.

My favourite characters were Willa and Wade.
