Max's POV
After David agreed to get me coffee while he shows me around town and come up with a 'few plans' for how the school year will go and other types of things like that. He mentioned that I could have my friends over as long as I told them and that they were to leave at ten on a school night. I thought that was pretty nice of him. The gang will be the ones who mainly come over honestly. But other than that, not anyone else probably.
David and I walk over to his car he opens the back seat door for me I sigh and get in and buckle up. David gets in and does the same, starting the car and everything. He puts on music this time, not music I would like but I decide to stick with it for now.
"You buckled in Max?" He smiled looking back, I nodded in return, he looks back up to the front and starts driving.
Later in the car ride, I unbuckled as quietly as I could and changed the music station, I'm getting tired of listening to whatever the hell this is. Sure as hell is annoying. Once I did I slid back down to my seat and looked out the window, noticing different things. I've never really been in this town, only when we were going on road trips. So I never really realized anybody lived here that I knew this summer.
"Max! Did you change the station??"
"Maybe, why do you ask?"
"Maaax. Don't do that, or however, you did this. Just ask me next time."
"Fiiiiiine I won't unbuckle and sneak my way up and change the station."
"Max! Why would you do that??" David freaks out a bit.
I snicker a bit "Didn't like the music too much." David shakes his head
3rd POV
Finally getting into to town, a modern town with up-to-date stores and other places. Max had sat up and looked through the window watching new buildings to him that he'd never seen before rush past. They went past the high school that he guessed he be going to, they drove by a small flower shop, he saw that a few people stopped outside to wave outside of it. They drove by multiple houses all looking symmetrical and identical.
"Hey, David? Who were the people at that one flower shop?" Max asked
"Oh! That's my business! Yeah, I started a flower shop and have some of my friends work there with me. That's one of the places I'll be taking you too. First, we're gonna stop at my place so you can see your room and put your things in there." Max nodded.
"Alright. When can I go see my friends?"
"Tomorrow or later tonight. It's already almost 6:30" David said pulling into the driveway.
They lived in a growing town, from David's house to the camp was about thirty-twenty minutes away.
Once they got to the house David got out and opened up Max's door. Max grabbed his bag and hopped out. Once he was out he looked at the exterior of the house. The house is a light green that mimics all of the other houses around it. A white door leads in, there are two windows in the front, making it even more symmetric other than a garage to the right of the house. He had a flower bed surrounding the edge of his house, and about five stairs that led to his average sized white porch, it held a porch swing along with it.
