Through It All

Salon Day #6

I arrived with all of the hair color ready for the guys. Minho-oppa had his razors and cutting shears ready. I said, "This will be a great day."

Minho-oppa smiled, "Congratulations on you and Yoongi by the way. I knew that eventually you two would get together."

"Thank you, oppa. I also thank you for not trying to push us," I replied.

He chuckled, "I've been around Yoongi long enough to understand that he wouldn't open up about his feelings easily. He just needed a little push."

I laughed, "That push came in the form of TOP and GDragon."

He smiled, "So what are you doing with the guys this time?"

"Well, for Jin-oppa, his hair will have black hair again. Yoongi will be blonde hair. Hobi will have brown hair again. Namjoon will have light brown hair. Jimin will have red hair. Taehyung will have light brown hair and Jungkook will have black hair with a purple tint," I explained.

Minho smiled, "Jungkook will be happy about that."

Then the guys walked in and greeted us. I asked, "Is there anyone who wants to got first?"

Yoongi immediately sat down. I couldn't help but laugh at this. I picked up the color remover because pink can be a pain to remove from anyone's hair. While I was working on his hair, he said, "Will it be a natural hair color?"

I smiled and whispered, "Yes, it will."

Once I applied all of the color remover, I had him move to the couch. Before he got to the couch, he caressed the small of my back with his fingertips. It made me shiver and I saw him smirk. I shook my head and I said, "Who's next?"

Hobi sat in the chair next. I started applying the color. He asked, "Have you heard Dope, noona?"

I nodded, "I have and I can't help but wonder if all of you are chronicling your professional careers or picking on artists who aren't taking their craft seriously."

"A little bit of both," Namjoon stated.

I laughed, then I had him sit on the couch. I checked on Yoongi's hair to see if the pink has disappeared at all. Thankfully, the pink was barely noticable and I was able to wash out the remover. I put him back in the chair since his hair was blonde, but it was lacking in dimension, so I added a lighter shade so it wouldn't seem one note. He whispered, "Are you doing anything later after this?"

I whispered, "Nothing special. Why?"

He slipped a note in my pocket and replied softly, "Read that when you have a chance."

I smiled, then had him move to the couch for the color to process. I checked on Hobi's hair and it was where it should be, so I washed out the extra product and applied conditioner. Then I noticed Namjoon sat in my chair next. I noticed that his hair was shorter than last time. I looked at Minho-oppa and he smiled. That's when I knew that Namjoon asked for shorter hair, so I just proceeded with coloring his hair. I asked, "Wanted to try out shorter hair?"

He smiled, "Yeah."

I laughed, "I had short hair once myself. I begged my parents to let me have BoA-sunbae's hair from the Identity album cover."

I saw Yoongi smile at that. He was actually with me that day when I got that haircut. After I applied the color, I checked on Yoongi's hair. It was finished processing, so I moved him to the sink, washed out the extra product and applied conditioner. He gave a look that basically meant he wanted a kiss, but I shook my head. I rinsed out the conditioner in Hobi's hair, then dried and styled it. I went to check on Namjoon and his hair was where it should be, then I had him move to the sink, washed out the excess product, then applied conditioner. I rinsed out Yoongi's conditioner, then dried and styled his hair. I looked to see Jungkook in my chair next. I smiled and he said, "How different will it be, Noona?"

I smiled, "Let's just say it'll look different in certain lights."

He looked a little confused, but he went along with it. I started applying his color and I could see the excitement in his face. Once he noticed that it was black, I could see the disappointment in his face. I whispered, "There will be some purple tint that will pick up in various lights."

After that, his bunny smile returned. I continued to apply the color to his hair. Once I finished, Minho-oppa rinsed out Namjoon's conditioner and dried and styled his hair. While Jungkook's hair was processing, I was taking care of Jin-oppa's hair next. I whispered, "How are you and Mi Ho-unni doing?"

"We're doing great, actually. She definitely helps me when I'm very stressed. Kind of like what you do for Yoongi," he replied softly.

I smiled. I couldn't help but be happy for Mi Ho-unni and Jin-oppa. When I finished with Jin-oppa, I checked on Jungkook's hair. It wasn't ready yet, so I waved for either Jimin or Taehyung to come to my chair. Jimin was sitting in the chair and I started applying the red hair to his hair. After I was through applying the color to his hair, I checked on Jungkook again and his hair was ready, so I moved to the sink to wash out the extra product. Jungkook said, "Are you sure you can't live with us, Noona?"

I laughed, "I'm sure, Kookie. I'd have to take Mi Ho-unni with me if I moved in with you."

"I wouldn't mind," Jin-oppa said.

I laughed at this and applied conditioner to Jungkook's hair. I checked Jimin's hair, but it wasn't through processing, so I just moved on to Taehyung. While I was applying Taehyung's hair, Minho-oppa checked on Jin-oppa's hair and asked, "Is this where his hair should be?"

I looked at Jin-oppa's hair and nodded. Minho-oppa washed out the extra product and applied conditioner to his hair. I finished with Taehyung's hair and checked on Jimin's hair. It was ready, so I washed out the extra product and applied the conditioner. Jimin whispered, "Is Hyung making sure you're happy? If he isn't, I'll take care of him."

I chuckled, then whispered, "He is. There's no need to take care of him."

I knew he was being serious when he said that he wouldn't forgive Yoongi if he hurt me, but when he said it, he looked so cute! I went to Jin-oppa and rinsed out his conditioner and dried and styled his hair. I checked on Taehyung's hair, but it wasn't ready yet, so I rinsed out Jimin's conditioner and dried and styled his hair. Yoongi looked at me and asked, "I never imagined myself blonde, but this isn't bad."

I smiled, "I glad you like it."

Finally, Taehyung was ready, so I rinsed out the extra product in his hair and applied conditioner to his hair. While I was doing this, he asked, "Will I ever find a great person like you, Noona?"

I thought about this for a moment. I knew eventually that Taehyung would give up on trying to win me over, but thankfully, he hasn't given up on finding someone for himself. I answered, "I know you'll find a great person, but I don't think she'll be like me. Most likely, she'll be the perfect girl for you."

Taehyung smiled at that, and once the conditioner has done its job, I rinsed it out and dried and styled his hair. Once I looked at all of them, I smiled. I looked at what Yoongi put in my pocket. It was a doodle of him and me with a message that said, "Movie sometime just the two of us?"

I walked over to him and whispered, "Buy both kettle and caramel popcorn."

He smiled and everyone helped clean up the salon. When I got home, I took off my contacts, took a shower and went to bed.
