So, today, we lost another idol from SM Entertainment who was deeply underappreciated, Choi Jin-ri or as she is most known as, Sulli who I knew as the baby-faced rapper of F(x). While F(x) wasn't the first Kpop girl group that I've seen, they were the first Kpop girl group that I loved and I looked forward to every comeback. I was truly devasted when she left the group, but I knew that she was looking out for herself and wanted to focus on her health and happiness. When I heard of her passing, I was heartbroken and I thought that she was in more pain than I thought, like Jonghyun.
I also read that the idol culture needs to change and I agree. Idols need to be treated like human beings rather than tools to line the pockets of the administration or as eye candy to their fans. Unfortunately, SM Entertainment has been doing that for years and while some of the idols from that particular have come out of the other side with their sanity intact, the same can't be said for everyone.
That being said, Rest In Peace, Sulli. I miss you already.
