The dark willowy figure let out a frantic shriek and lunged off the railing. Before I knew what was happening Caspian darted forward and blocked the Anomaly from attacking me. As the group drew their weapons and assembled around me I took a shaky breath and began the Anomaly cleansing process.
"cleanse thy spirit of these our kin and cast out the evils buried within.....", I chanted quietly bringing my daggers in front of my face, my eyes closed.
"forgive me", I rasped opening my eyes and leaping over Caspian.
As I lunged forward I saw Caspian's eyes widen, I couldn't understand why. I came in contact with the first Anomaly and sliced its head instantly feeling slightly accomplished. The next one bolted towards me, I kicked the disturbing shadow to the ground where Caspian and Abbey began taking blows to every part of its body. I fell down, sheathing my daggers and revealing my saber bringing it down through the things head watching it squirm under my weapon and then dispers. We all turned searching for the third, all in attack mode waiting for the next target. I looked back to the stairs and before I could take a step forward there was a gut-wrenching scream.
