I eyed this mysterious boy, he made me curious, which was a strange reaction to a over-confident gothic boy I had just met. He piqued my interest but of course I'd never let him know that. 'wouldn't want to inflate that ego of his', I thought to myself.

" Whatever, just take me to The Creator," I replied, fending off my growing need to know all about him.

" Alright, my name is Damion, by the way," he replied cordially leading us down a blood red path,"Damion Blake."

"Well, Damian Blake, I'm Saraphine", I stated plainly.

"So I'm in the midst of an angel? I never thought I'd see the day an angel came to me for guidance," he remarked with a smirk gazing solemnly into my eyes.

"Trust me, I'm no angel," I replied. it was a good thing it was dark, that way no one could see the faint blush on my face.

He looked me over, bit his lip, and whispered, "Could've fooled me...."

the faint pink blush on my face deepened into a defined crimson and I looked away to avoid him seeing, so much for that plan. Damian stopped in his tracks and turned to face me, he gently brought my face closer to his and whispered lightly against my ear," Will you be my angel.....Saraphine?"

My mind went blank and I wasn't sure how to respond. I'd never been in this situation before, and I was panicking.

"Get your hands off her," Caspian demanded.

"Why? do you own her or something?", Damian questioned innocently.

"Well no, but I'd assume someone you just met wouldn't want you all over them like that," he retorted.

"Well if she isn't yours, then there's a chance she'll be mine," he cooed in a tone of Condescendence.

"I'm neither of yours to own!", I screamed between them. The room went silent and anger bubbled over me. How dare they talk as though I'm not even here. I'm not an item or a trophy for them to proudly display, I'm a human being and I deserve to be treated as such.

"How dare you speak of me as if I am yours to lose or gain! I am not here for your petty amusement! I did not wish to be treated as some inanimate object! Don't you EVER do that again," I yelled sternly. They looked as if they'd seen a ghost. I did what I had to, they would not underestimate me.

"...Sorry..."Damien mumbled as he turned back around and led us through the corridor.

"Sara....I'm sorry..I shouldn't have done that..."Caspian whispered low enough that only I could hear.

"Whatever...", I mumbled as I kept on walking.

The corridor seemed to stretch on for miles, although I wasn't tired in the slightest. As we ventured forward I kept glancing from the paths blood red carpeted floors to Damion, then to Caspian and the others. It seemed odd, but it was as if I had met Damion before...'somewhere, somewhere I've seen his face...heard his voice..but where?' I questioned myself.
"Alright we're here," Damion said as we arrived at a large pair of metal double doors. In this dimly lit corridor, the hard, metallic doors stuck out like a sore thumb. Damion turned to me to walk out.
"Don't get lost princess, this place is awfully big, wouldn't want you to break a nail..", Damion whispered sarcastically as he passed me on his way back.
"Yeah, sure, whatever," I mumbled moving cautiously towards the large double doors.
